My husband is my carer and he is allowed to earn £100.a week. Hope this helps.

Your carer will have to provide weekly or monthly pay advice slips. This can go on for quite a few months, but it's worth it in the end. You have to contact the Department of Work & Pensions. Please beware that if your carer works any extra hours, he may not get the allowance. You can do as many hours as you want, as long as you only earn £100.
