Hi has anyone on here got better? Today has been awful slept all day and still tired. My head is full of cotton wool, and I feel I dont spend time with my family. This has gone on for 21mths, backwards and forwards to hospital and GP. Loads of blood test done, just been told I have a low vitamin d.....just fed up....

Sounds like me. I slept most of yesterday - my own fault as I travelled too far on Tuesday and Wednesday. I should have seen the doctor on Tuesday for the results of my blood tests but overslept and have now got an appointment for Monday.

Hi there Jan,I totally understand how you feel I have just recently had to give up work (reluctantly) I couldn't cope anymore,if I wasn't at work I was in bed, simply exhausted all the time, the future is scary,so I'm trying to take one day at a time, this thing that is fibromyalgia is an awful illness to cope with never mind life on top,any good days enjoy ,enjoy, enjoy! The bad days well I dread them when they knock you off your feet, hope you're feeling brighter soon, sending huggles your way xxx

Aw thank you everyone for your replies, I to have given up work I worked full time as a nursery nurse, and I dont know how I did it. Been out with my daughter today, and met a old friend from yrs back. Feel achy but so glad I went out. Big hugs to all of you.

people can and do go into managed remission. I think one person recently said she'd once had remission for seven years.
