ESA as stopped after 365 days be carefull guys , no money after that no even job search , what a farce.

I had no warning that this benefit was going to be ended until it had already stopped originally I thought it was for 2 years according to my support worker with notice at least I could have been seeking other alternatives to substitute this huge loss of income my budget plans didn't take account of a deficit of £400. per month. I will now be getting myself into debt but means tested benefits only look at your incoming not your outgoings already with a debt management for previous debts built up when I was suddenly unable to work after a Brain Operation having made a hole in those debts another is going to arise living on savings at the moment why is my partners income taken into means tested I have always paid my NI in full not taken advantage of married persons NI so now I'm reliant on my partner feeding & clothing me paying all the bills my only other income in my name is £210 DLA the rest pays for the mobility car without which it will be difficult going to the many hospital appointments

scattered all around the County of Devon not just a taxi ride or bus with the Stopped so will my NI contributions not be paid some of the benefits if your eligible will take away Housing Benefit or Council Tax support i.e Carers Allowance my partner has dementia but will be out of pocket if I claim the Carers Allowance which is less money than he gets for housing/council tax its not an income as such if they count it as being so why aren't outgoings being recognized do I wait for the bailiffs to be knocking on the door I have nothing of value to be sold my jewelry went ages back to keep the wolf from the door.I can't work which my allocated Support worker for regaining employment during the 365days

having been in touch on a regular basis has realized my health issues have prevented any possibilities of getting employment..... what next anyone out there got any ideas of help

Oh no,, it's awful what your going thro. I can only suggest CAB. They are pretty good at keeping the wolves away And they know all the ways of cutting through the red tape to get you another way of getting benifits . Everyone had suffered since the benifit cuts and bedroom tax ect . Also not forgetting people unemployed or disabled are paying extra towards their housing benefits now so it extra tight . Try going CAb. They're are done websites on google giving out free information to people on how to appeal if your ESA has stopped and also what to do and claim if it is. If your disabled or unwell they must give you something . I was refused anything when I was on sick and I know I'm going to have to claim again as I'm bk on sick and can't see me ever going bk to work I'm so ill. So I'm facing this myself soon . I can't stand paperwork and hate having to deal with DWP as they are so hard to get intouch with and cause md awful stress when I have to speak with anyone. I do understand the money issue as I'm allways cold when temperature drops as I can't afford to use the heating .

I'm sorry your in a fianancial concern . You can allways try the free handouts don't be too proud I've gone to Salvation Army for food parcels before today . They gave me cheese bread and soup to take home I was so glad if it at the time . I have have gone thro it since December gone from a really good income to really bad . I can't pay any of my phone contracts and catalogue s , no sky for me and can't afford anything, due to this curse if a condition. I do relate . Think they're should be a charity for this dirt if help I really do because people need it .

hi joanne, this is terrible. you must be climbing the walls as to what to do. i think that after 365 days it does stop if you are in WRAG and not SUPPORT.which group were you in ?

i honestly hope you get something sorted soon. i am in support group and on dla i am entitled to get a car on mobility but i havent as they just seem to pull benefits when they feel like it.
