I am not very mobile but am steadily losing 2lb a week by just eating 3 well balanced meals a day .. No junk food ......fruit if I am hungry and just cut the portion size down a little... I must say since stopping chocolate my bloating has gone ....its just wobbly fat.... The best thing is now I am seeing a result I don't feel the need for cakes and crisps etc

Hope you find something that works for you

I think Vg has given the best advice possible - actual 'diets ' don't work, there's too much restriction, but a good healthy eating plan will do the trick, slowly but surely.

If you want a structured eating plan, I always found Slimming World very good.

It's what VG has recommended, basically, but you get help and support, company, some nice books and recipes, and a hefty bill!

Worth it tho' if it makes you happy, and it does work very well!

I low carb, I've found that's the way to get the weight off. I don't eat bread, pasta, rice, and very rarely eat potatoes. My guideline is anything that contains more than 7g of carbs per 100grms of food I leave alone. I've not found it too difficult or too restricting and sometimes if I don't feel like a meal I have a milkshake instead, using sugar free milkshake syrup. It fills me up then I eat only small portions. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention a website on here, but if you google diet freedom you'll find a brilliant site that can help you. Good luck!! XX

I agree with Slimming World.

If you stick to their Free Foods ( which are worked out to give all the nutrition needed ) it's a guaranteed way of losing weight I use my Syn allowance for that naughty bar of chocolate or a lovely glass of wine.

They have a wonderful support group on-line too. I find it easy to keep to target except when I start baking and have more than my share of calories he he.

Good luck!
