I am in the process of moving house and although I have had pain in my joints even after taking Oramorph , I have been packing up boxes as we move next week. My problem is now I am in more pain than I can cope with, my back, shoulders wrists and hands are really bad and both my hips feel like someone is sawing them off. I now don't know what to do. I am so tried but can't get to sleep due to the pain. I only took the oramorph about 90 minutes ago so can't take anymore for a while. Has anyone got any good ideas on how to get to sleep while in pain. Please no one say try a bath, I would do but the way my hips and hands are I can not get out of the bath without a lot of help
As you can see by the time I should of been a sleep hours ago. Any help would be great. Need to sleep as still have a lot of packing up to do as I can not afford the type of removal man who come in and do it all, I can barely afford a man with a van to move the big pieces

Have you ever tried using a prescribed pain relief cream called Capasacin Cream.
Capasacin cream is known to reduce Substance P , a substance which is excitable when you feel pain. Research has shown that people with Fibromyalgia have 3 times the amount of Substance P than healthy people do.
I found it very beneficial and thought I would mention it out of interest. Link below
Please be aware that for people that are sensitive to medications, this may be something that should be avoided. Capasacin is made from Capiscum pepper and you must be careful when using avoiding eyes as it is similar to pepper spray.
Thank you so much and no I have never heard of it, where do I get it from my GP or a shop / Internet . Have you used it or how did you come to find out about it?
Hi, I used it for around 3 years and I personally found it very effective. At first it feels incredibly hot (hotter than deep heat products) but I found the heat soothing. Other friends with Fibro said the heat feeling was too much for them. However, I found that after a while I did not feel any heat when applied.
I would suggest using it on one tiny area first and sparingly. I cannot use it at the moment but wish I could. I have a young one 14 months who wants cuddles and I worry about it rubbing off onto her.
It is prescribed by the GP and there are two strengths 0.025 & 0.075 I believe and I always had the 0.025 strength. As, I mentioned if you have sensitivities then it may not be for you. I thought it helped my pain considerably but what may suit one person does not always suit another as we know.
Let us know how you get on if you decide to give it a try
