I'm 22 and have now known for 6 years... - Fertility Network UK
I'm 22 and have now known for 6 years that I can not conceive, I have had operations and taken tablets to try and help, but with no success.
Hi, I'm not sure what risks you are talking about.
This is medical treatment that is a combination of taking drugs and invasive activity, so both elements bring risks to the actual treatment. That is why when you are undergoing treatment they keep you under close observation so that they are monitoring your responses to treatment, to make sure that your health isn't affected.
If you have concerns, please do go back to your consultant and discuss with him/her about these (or someone else at the clinic), so that you can make an informed decision as to whether this is right for you.
Hi Tarapudbear, I would be happy to talk through what is involved. I run Infertility Network UK's support line and you can contact me directly on 0121 323 5025 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am - 4pm. Regards, Diane
IVF is not the only solution please see our website for success stories like mine, I was menopausal not producing any eggs and I became pregnant with the help of a Chinese Herbal Medicine doctor?? its really important to keep a fertility chart also see example on our site infertilityhelptoday.com and links to treatment options including IVF -Good Luck.
