Summer is often a time when with holidays and the warmer weather we're less busy on the phone lines and the online community - but not this year!

Clare is currently on annual leave and we hope she's having a great time; but it's most definitely not a chance to slow down when the boss is away!

As we shared in our last blog post we've greatly increased the numbers of both our Standard and Premium Membership since adding to the levels of membership available.

We are delighted to see so many more people finding the factsheets useful and finding out about our Helpliners, Linkliners & Advice Line, our fantastic team of staff and volunteers, available to talk to who are making life more managable for some of our members. To access our factsheets click here: infertilitynetworkuk.com/?i...

We continue to also provide a Professional membership for individuals working in the field of infertility as well as our Outreach Scheme for clinics who wish to affilitate; showing they recognise the need for a charity that works behind the scenes to raise awareness, campaign for funding and provide support services that aren't just online.

If you didn't know - we are MUCH more than just a website! Do click the link to see: tinyurl.com/NotJustaWebsite

Susan has been in Bexhill this week, working from our Head Office, it's been an admin week making sure we're prepared for this years Fertility Show (fertilityshow.co.uk) which looks like being busier than ever. Infertility Network UK will be running several workshops based around the questions/issues most commonly raised at support gorups, through the advice line and our volunteer lines.

Susan has also been getting to know Hannah, Hannah Tramaseur joins as our new Volunteer Co-ordinator. Hannah will be based in Bexhill full time and working to develop, train and expand our fabulous team of volunteers. If you want to find out more about our volunteer roles do get in touch with Hannah do drop her an email hannahtramaseur@infertilitynetworkuk.com or give her a ring on 0800 008 7464

Sheena & Cindy are working on national grants and charity award aplications. If you happen to come across a local grant opportunity where there's a need for a information day, a support group or a regional member of staff then do get in touch. sheena@infertilitynetworkuk.com As a charity with no statutory funding we rely on grants, donations and fundraising activities to enable us to provide the services we offer.

Thinking of fundraising "wow!!!!" Nigel Dawson - husband of Nic Dawson known to many of our members who have followed their journey to family life, has more than doubled his original fundraising target justgiving.com/NigelPDawson following his amazing sponsored cycle ride and as for Nic's open water swimming we are in awe! We have so many brilliant fundraisers I might just have to do another blog post after I've finished telling you what we're up to!

Sharon and Fiona have been working on volunteer training in Northern Ireland, visiting local hospitals and running one of their local support groups. Sharon is also working on regional funding and NI charity award applications. Sharon is then on leave for a week, we all hope the sun shines for her.

Gwenda has been working on campaigning for access to funding in Scotland, several people have commented recently that Scotland is lucky to have 3 cycles in most places - but often the waiting time means this isn't always what it seems! We ensure we're constantly making a big noise about the need for access to treatment, about the length of waiting times and about the access criteria. Gwenda is on leave this week, we're hoping she has a great break.

It's already magazine time again so Claire, our Editor, is putting together the Autumn magazine and collating articles for the Winter one too! If you want to see your story in print then do let Clare know. claireogilvie@infertilitynetworkuk.com

All our staff work for Infertility Network UK, More To Life and ACeBabes, giving you continuity of support form people who understand whatever stage of your journey through infertility you're at.

Do get in touch any time - we're here to help!
