Throwing myself into freezing water to raise money for I N UK

I just wanted to post some information on here about some fundraising that my husband Nigel and I are doing in the next few months. We had such incredible support from INUK when we were going through our long and painful journey to start a family, and now that we have been lucky enough to achieve our dream we very much value the understanding that ACeBabes provide.

To try and say just a small thank you for all that we have received from INUK we decided to set ourselves some challenges over the summer and to try and raise some money to help ensure that the support we received is there for others in the future.

Nigel has been training hard for a 100km cycle ride around the New Forest and the Isle of Wight - it's less than 2 weeks away now and he's getting a wee bit nervous!

And I've started open water swimming and can regularly be found throwing myself into freezing water in the small hours of the morning to train for a 1 mile Thames River swim in August and then a sea swim in Poole Harbour in early September.

If anyone would like more information, or to sponsor either of us, please take a look at our JustGiving pages. It's a fantastic cause, and any money will be put to very good use!

Thank you Nic, we really appreciate all you're doing and hope Nigel has recovered from his cycle ride.
