EWCM or peak lh?

Sorry if I am overthinking again but I was so excited yesterday that I had a peak lh and now I’m worried that we should have started bd sooner.

I had EWCM starting on Friday but did not bd till Sunday. I got Peak lh yesterday so we bd last night and we will today and the tomorrow. Hoping that this is enough.

If i don’t fall again this month do people recommend starting to bd from the day that I have EWCM even if lh tests are no where near?

ideally it is best to start from as soon as your period stops, every other day; and definitely once you have EWCM and making sure you do on day of the surge and the couple of days after. BD after the LH surge can be missing the boat a bit as you want the sperm to be ready and waiting for the egg in the fallopian tube. For me I ovulate early after the LH surge as I have a short peak based on scans and temp charts so consultant said it’s really the days leading up to the surge that were most crucial (and my tests would look no where near until suddenly peaked for only 12 hours). The EWCM is there to help the sperm get to where it needs to. Good luck
