2 week wait - Day 7 - No symptoms?

Hi Everyone,

I am 7 dpt and just feeling very low. The 2ww is just weighing heavily on me. Since yesterday I have been convinced that it failed because I have had no symptoms whatsoever. Just the odd cramping, which is pretty normal with stage 4 endo. Checking online it seems that most people experience additonal discharge.... which I have not experienced yet. I felt very positive on transfer day, I had a day 3 transfer with a grade A embryo. This was the furthest we have ever gotten. Our first round was a failure due to poor egg quality. Only 2 were collected then. This time while only 1 was collected I was so relieved that the quality was better. I was hoping this meant we would be able to use my own eggs in the future, as I was seriously starting to consider the donor route. This is a NHS round and they currently just have me on 400mg cyclogest pessaries in the morning and evening. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

Hi lovely,

The 2ww is torture - I've been through 9 now...

But I can tell you that on my successful cycle I had absolutely ZERO symptoms - not a sore boob, no discharge, my cervix didn't change position, I had no cramps or implantation bleeding.... I was 100% convinced it hadn't worked but that little embryo is now 3.

All the other 2wws I had every symptom under the sun and all were negative.

You've got this xx

9 tww... I can't even the imagine the level of resilience you have to go through that! That is amazing that you were successful and had no symptoms....it gives me a lot of comfort! I unfortunately succumbed and went down the google track and started to think that I was totally out. Just really in my own head right now. Thank you so much for reaching out x

Yea when I think back it does seem like a lot - but I was so determined....

To be fair 3 of those have been to try for a sibling, but it never gets any easier unfortunately.

The Google rabbit hole is very normal - don't beat yourself up. It's so hard not to analyse every single thing. Not long to wait now xxx

I’m also 7 days into the 2ww!! The days are dragging. I also have had no symptoms (apart from mood swings which I know is the medication). I never get symptoms and have had 3 ivf cycles all ending in a BFP after the 2ww. Xx

please do not worry about not having any symptoms, this is my 4th FET and the only one I had increased discharge with (eww I hate that word haha) was on only one of my BFN cycles.

I know that depressed feeling all too well and I’m sorry you are feeling like this. Sending you hugs.

When is your otd? Xx

Thursday 17th April. I hope I am still in with a chance but not sure! I had bloos done yesterday privately to check my oestradiol levels (as I was sure they were low) they were 126pmol/l. I don't think this is good? Good luck to you x

I’m the same and feeling like I’m out! But so many forums are saying we could still be in it…. But I’ve had zero symptoms either and I feel like if it’s neg in the morning I have to be out.

I am saying a prayer for you. Xx

Hi, try not to symptom spot. You wouldn’t get any pregnancy symptoms until around 6 weeks pregnant - any symptoms you get would be the medication and some people don’t get any.

I had 4 failed transfers, one mock cycle with no transfer and a 5th transfer where I was pregnant - I felt the same on all of them. Always had ‘pregnancy symptoms’. Never once had discharge though. It was very eye opening to have the pregnancy symptoms during my mock cycle (biopsy) when I knew there was no transfer. So I learnt symptom spotting is meaningless in IVF.

I also know people who had absolutely zero symptoms throughout their entire pregnancy! x

just wanted to echo my good lady  Millbanks comments. Zero symptoms for me and not even a visible bump until a week before due date. She is 5 months old. Don’t symptom spot easy to say I know but keep busy, take meds like normal and live as you would normally live… it’s was the only strategy that worked for me after 8 years on the ivf bus!
