Multiple failed transfers

I have had 2 rounds of IVF , 7 failed transfers and one miscarriage at 6 weeks. I have been diagnosed with unexplained and never go pregnant naturally. On my last transfer I was prescribed steroids which also didn't work and I had a scratch. Has anyone got an advice or help anything I can do? All the embryos I have had transferred have been top grade and whenever I have my baseline scans they are always really happy with my lining. I am at a loss!

Hi, have you had any of your embryos PGTA tested? It might be worth it depending on your age. I was in a similar situation last year with 4v failed transfers (all top quality and good lining) and no natural pregnancies. I moved clinic, started again, did PGTA testing, embryo glue and assisted hatching and don't combination of that finally resulted in a BNP. No idea what was the magic that finally made it work!

Hi, no I haven't had any PGTA testing. It was with the NHS and they did bare minimun. They said because I had one success that ended in miscarriage that they wouldn't look any further and their words..."it's just luck" :(

Ah ok. I didn't qualify for NHS funding so sadly had to pay privately for it all.

Sorry to hear you didn't qualify. Im really glad it worked for you though. Did they ever put you on steroids?

I think the key question is how old are you?

Did you take anything for egg quality prior to your IVF cycles?

Any male factors?

Have you done testing for recurrent implantation failure?

You may be a candidate for PGT-A depending on age.

Thanks for helping. There were no male problems and he has a child from another relationship. I haven't had any PGT-A testing previously. I had it done with the NHS and asked them about it but they were willing to do any add ons. I am 38.
