If my partner abstained for 10 days before until egg retrieval, can his sperm still be visible for IVF

no don’t that long. Sample should be only 2 or 3 days obstained one otherwise fregmentation will be too high and you won’t get any good or viable embryo.best of luck

As 1st post says short periods of abstinence 2/3 days are thought to be more beneficial than long periods

I had a FS who said one day of abstinance and both these cycles resulted in our best number of embryos (note, we got two each time instead of 1). All other cycles to date have produced only 1 embryo.

This time we're doing 1.5 days.

No expert but 10 days sounds like it's far too long, as I understand they want it to be semi regular so all the old sperm is cleared out.
