Difficulties conceiving
Hi, sorry to hear your having some problems. It can be incredibly frustrating. How long have you been trying? Has your partner also had tests done to check different levels within the sperm? There can be many reasons why it’s not happening, but sometimes there might not be anything they can find and it might just take a bit longer than normal, but it really does depend on how long you’ve been trying as to what you can try next. Make sure your on pregnancy vitamins, vitamin D, maybe your partner can take some too if he’s not already.
We tried to conceive naturally for over 2yrs. Had all the tests done and they said it’s unexplained, only slight issue was partners sperm which meant its not impossible but just more difficult and would take longer naturally. In the end was referred for IVF because of this but everyone is different and it really does depend like I say how long it’s been and what you’ve done already. X
I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. You might want to ask your doctor about Myo-inositol. It’s a supplement that some women take to help with hormone balance and ovulation. It’s natural and often used by those trying to conceive, but it’s always good to get your doctor’s advice to see if it’s the right fit for you. Sending you lots of hope and baby dust! xxx
Hi. Perhaps it’s time to be referred to a specialist and ask about a hysteroscopy to check your womb out and biopsy the lining. An acupuncturist can help to increase blood flow to the ovaries. Pineapple core can help prevent clot formation and improve circulation. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi ask your Dr to check thyroid ,serum vit B12 ,folate ,iron, vit D ,Vit C ,zinc levels.A vitamin D & B12 deficiency can cause infertility in both sexes .Giving a male vit b12 supplement( methylcobabalim )can boost sperm 40 million to 100 million.Serum b12 requires to be >550 pmol/l other wise a deficiency exists.Have a good diet of meat ,eggs, seafood ,veggies ,nuts & fruits .Filter drinking water .You could chart your menstrual cycle to enhance your chances of conception.Fertility awareness clinics or NAPRO clinics available .
