Drinking alcohol during downregulation

I’m currently on day 6 of 12 of downregulation. I haven’t drank any alcohol since New Years Eve where I had half a bottle of champagne. It’s my partners Birthday today and we’re out celebrating it together. What are people’s thoughts on drinking at this point in time? Last time I did an egg collection I recall being quite strict about drinking even in downregulation.

my specialist has said that alcohol in moderation is totally fine during or before stims, not after a transfer, so think you’d be fine 😊

Thanks, we shared some red wine last night. That’s me done now until post egg collection. Sometimes it feels like you can’t live life in your normal way so it was nice for us to get out on a date like we used to in the past

I have and would drink in down reg. the ones that have worked for me I did. I even had a Prosecco/wine with lemonade during the 2ww with both my son and my current pregnancy so I think as long as not on stims it’s completely fine and my clinic nurse even agreed! I honestly truly believe relaxing and enjoying our lives makes a difference if not to the results (which it has never affected for me except in a positive way) to our resilience at the very least! Xx enjoy 💜

I decided to drink last night. It was with food and I’m not going to drink again now until after the collection. It was nice to be a bit “normal”. Thanks for responding, it’s removed the guilt.
