Hello all,My partner and I started our journey because of male infertility. We have had 2 egg collections and now have 2 embryos in the freezer after an early miscarriage in August. We are hoping to do our FET in February. Our clinic (private) has given us an overview of a very medicated prep (in my opinion) and I'm wondering if anyone can give me an insight into lass medicated plans. I really struggled with the last egg collection drugs...my body was swamped so I'd like to explore a less medicated cycle but my clinic seems to have a 'one size fits all' approach!

First Frozen transfer...advice please
I had my first FET in December and am currently 6 weeks. I went for a modified natural cycle because I ovulate regularly however I spotted before test day with my fresh transfer so believe I do suffer low progesterone. I am on lubion and cyclogest. I also had a scan on day 11 to ensure my lining was ok. This wasn’t initially offered but I wasn’t about to thaw an embryo to find out lining was not optimal.
I felt a lot more relaxed heading into this transfer, I think the reduced hormones helped.
Good luck!
Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, so so tough to go through. I found egg collection meds and process pretty unpleasant but have had two FETs and they were much more manageable in terms of medication and side effects. I was given prostap to downreg, then on oestrogen tablets (name escapes me right now!), lubion, cyclogest and clexane. Hope this helps and best of luck for Feb xxx
