Had my first scan today, day 5, have been on gonal f for 5 days, and had a blood test done as well
I had a call later in the afternoon to say they think I have a hormonal imbalance and a cyst that is causing problems so they are cancelling this cycle and will try again next cycle as don't think this cycle will be viable.
Half an hour later I get a call explaining that because I'm NHS funded I still have to go ahead with the cycle otherwise I lose the funding. I'm a bit worried that I'll go through all of this for it not to work! Has anyone had any success, or even had this happen to them?
Thanks in advance, feels good just to rant!!!
Xx

Might be idea to give the clinic a call so they can explain fully the sudden change in their instructions to you .Especially as they mentioned in first call that they think the cycle will not be viable
Thank you have spoken to them now and understand more why it's been cancelled, just a shame it's so early on and that's one of my NHS funded cycles gone! Thanks x
