High hcg

At 14dp5dt my hcg was 3437. Anyone else around this level with a single pregnancy? Or I'm a more likely to see two babies at initial scan?

It's 8 times higher than my hcg was 3 years ago with my son.

It was a single embryo transfer and clinic said 1‰ chance of it splitting.

I'm hoping for a singleton

Hi there,

I think everyone’s different in terms of how much HCG they produce. I had a double transfer which resulted in my twins. By 18dp5dt I was at 9756, by 20d5dt I was at 31296! I was tripling my HCG. So I think it’s likely a singleton, unless your HCG goes up significantly at your next bloods.

good luck!! Xx

Same with me. I had a small a single transfer that split but between day 11 and day 13 hcg close to tripled.

yes Ive had high HCG and single pregnancy a day of doubling can make such a difference at that stage! My HCG has remained high at 12 week booking scan too which I didnt have with my son xx

Thanks. I'm now curious if it's higher because it's a different sex. Have you found out sex yet?

No and we aren’t going to but I had read a lot about that and apparently it’s a myth lol … saw the consultant at 20 weeks and he just said it could just be the norm for this pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s a good thing at your stage to have high HCG 🤗 xx

I didn't find out with my last pregnancy and probably won't with this one either. Just curious
