Does anyone here have a 2 day period and gone on to have a successful ivf pregnancy? Was it a medicated or natural transfer?
I’m planned to have a natural modified transfer but my acupuncturist was surprised I wasn’t on oestrogen as she thought it may explain my short periods.
I also always spot before my period.
Thank you.

My periods are 1.5 days and super light, even though I have endometriosis. I've always been really worried about the impact of it but a hysteroscopy showed no issues and the doctors have always said its fine. My lining responds well to the meds. No success yet though sadly (lots of miscarriages). If its a change for you (particularly after an op) then could be worth looking into further as there could be scarring but if this is normal for you then I don't think you need to worry (at least that's what I've been told)
I’m sorry to hear of your miscarriages. Life is so cruel. This has been the norm for me for a while. I had a hysteroscopy for a polyp but everything was in order. I’m thinking it may be too late to swap to medicated for a transfer this year. I’m waiting on my clinic calling me back to discuss.
I had super short and light periods before IVF, usually 2 days max. I did see a doctor about it as they suddenly got shorter (about 6 months before we started to TTC) but was told there was nothing wrong. I had a medicated FET which was successful, my little boy is now a very energetic 15 month old 😊
It was our first transfer so I was just put on the standard medicated protocol. I took oestrogen to thicken my lining (which did need to be increased after a few days as it wasn't thick enough) then progesterone pessaries.
All women have different so bleeding times do vary greatly - normally can be between 2- 7 days Might be an idea to discuss your concerns with your clinic/consultant
