Prostap SR DCS 3.75mg Injection: Where in London Can I get it Administered?

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all keeping well.

As part of the preparations for an IVF cycle with donor eggs, my IVF clinic which is based abroad have prescribed Prestap SR DCS 3.75mg powder and sovent. I'm struggling to find where I can have it administered as I need to have the shot done in less than two weeks time. The GP won't do it unfortunately.

Could anyone help me find a qualified nurse who can administer the injection or tell me where I could have it done? I'm based in London

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey I did it myself.Watched a video on YouTube with my mum guiding me in lol.

Thanks very much for your reply. That's brave of you to do it yourself! I was quoted £230 (£260 weekend) to get it done by a private nurse 😱 I mean... whaaatt!! I'll have a look at the online videos. Good luck to you too on your journey xx

I know ridiculous for 2 minutes honestly you will be fine mark your cheeky with a sharpie peas on it and have someone with you to guide you in. You got this xx

you can just give yourself the prostrap injection- I’ve did it several times it’s a bit of a bigger needle but not any different to any other injections xx

My friend did mine for me after we watched a video on YouTube. It’s just a bit of a faff mixing it and a bigger needle. But it was fine.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't think I could do it myself. So my husband will have to help with that xx
