Bleeding in 2WW

Hi there. Today I am day 8 following 5 day blast transfer (just one, frozen). On day 6 I had quite heavy spotting. Bright red, had to change panty liner a few times. Yesterday it was less, but still pink-red. I tested this morning-negative (I’m not a usual early tester but we’re away at friends on OTD & was hoping to have a heads up either way before being at their house).

This is our 10th FET. We did get pregnant with our amazing daughter round 4, & I did bleed with her too.

I’m just wondering at what point you’d expect to see the line appearing if starting to go positive (I’m testing with standard tests from Amazon, I do not want to see ‘not pregnant’ written on the test, and the early tests I feel I would lose hope too soon). Our transfer was late on transfer day- 3.15pm ish, & the fresh bleeding day 6 made me think it could have taken that long to implant?

We’re ‘undiagnosed’ infertility. Everything has always been perfect (bloods/lining/egg collection/fertilisation rate/transfer/embryo thaw…) I’ve been really positive this round as I think it will be our last (emotionally I think I’m done). I have been speaking to myself like I’m pregnant, but I feel a bit hopeless this morning with negative test day 8.

Hard to do but best wait for OTD before retesting and use 1st pee of the day as it is the most concentrated then Do not be too hard on yourself you are doing everything you can to help achieve your dream

It could be still to early to test positive with an Amazon, what miu is it? Normal Clear blue is 25miu and ultra early clear blue is 10 miu First Response early is 10 miu. So a huge difference, ultra early for example could show day 6 that normal would only show on day 10.

If it is just implanting too, it may be a day or so before hcg is released and a day or 3 until it's high enough to be picked up on a test.

Thanks. It was 10 miu…so even though bleeding stopped I’m feeling less hopeful. But I will keep testing & hope Sunday brings me the result we long for! Xx

Hi, I had spotting red on my 2ww and my clinic topped me up with progesterone because I had it quite low ( we all were very surprised by it) and they said this could be the reason for spotting.If you are drinking a lot it could dilute your urine and it could sabotage the test result. I will keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞
