Clarity which is day 2

Hi my consultant advised me to start taking my meds on day 2 of my period. I came on after 4pm today so do I still class today as day 1 or should tomorrow be day 1 as it will be the first full day? Please advise as don’t want to mess up my final cycle. Thanks x

Hi there.My clinic say if you don't start your period until after 3pm then day 1 will be classed as the next day.Best of luck with your cycle.xx

The usual guidelines is that if the full flow starts before noon today is your day 1, otherwise today is your day 0.

Always best to double-check with your clinic though. All the best with your cycle xx

Thanks for your reply Jinis that’s what I thought but just to be on the safe side I think I’ll check with the clinic in the morning x

My clinic always told me if you start a full flow bleed before 12pm that’s day 1. After 12pm you count the following day as day 1. X
