Testing after FET - is 9 days too early?

Has anyone tested 9 days after a day 5 blastocyst FET & had a positive result or is it too early?

I am convinced my get hasn’t worked - low progesterone, no symptoms etc & just want to know so I can get out for a run 🏃‍♀️

Thanks x

Hi lovely,

I’m the same as you just a few days behind, 4DP5DT today after FET .. im certain it hasnt worked and hate that my clinic’s test day is 15 says post transfer! I just want to end the misery asap and go for a run too 😔

Id say at 9DPT its a pretty good indicator as to whether its worked because thats technically 15DPO so you’d have ‘missed a period’ now if that makes sense?

Good luck xx

Thank you! I’ve tested and it is negative.

No surprise there! Fingers crossed for you x

I’m so sorry 😞 although you naturally expect the worst its still gutting seeing the stark whiteness of the negative.

Thanks lovely. I’m bracing for a similar outcome. Ive tested today 4DPT and its negative x

In my case whenever my embryo stick I had bfp around 7dpt, some say that it is still early

Hi there! When you say you got a positive on day 7 had you also tested on day 5 or 6 and gotten a negative? I’m on day 6 of my 4th transfer right now and got a negative today and yesterday. :( So devastated and feeling like this is the end of the road for me, but have a tiny bit of hope that it may just still be too early..

Hi Olivia333, on my 1st successful transfer I got bfp 5dp5dt, my 2nd transfer when trying for a sibling I had bfp 6dp5dt but only very faint line on the pm test, and on my 3rd FET I had vfl 7dp5dt but it was chemical - test line was getting darker up to 9dp5dt and from that point it started fading. I wish you all the luck I can that you will get your BFP!!! 🙏

Thank you for your response, this is so helpful! Maybe there is still hope, but glad I’m preparing mentally on a Sunday before the work week regardless. Thank you for the wishes and sweet words!! 🫶🏼

No worries :) and remember that test sensitivity also matters, I was only testing with FRER or 6 days early from Boots other tests that could detect 25mlU hcg took much longer to have 2nd line I think with my 1st transfer that I got bfp on 5dp5dt using FRER but with cheapy 25mlU test it detected I think around 7-9dpt

Totally, I was testing with Clearblue digital that can detect as low as 10 and it was negative again today on day 7. :( I convinced my clinic to move my blood test from Friday to today, sadly I just don't think this one worked. So hard since this is my 4th failed FET with two failed implantation and 2 chemical pregnancies, not sure what the next steps will be. Thank you again for your responses and kind words!
