Hi ladies, its me again... :(I posted the other day about having some pinkish spotting which then stopped and then become brown spotting for awhile and then nothing for a day and just now I had a bit more red blood... its still only when I wipe but I started to worry about it... 
My first scan is not until the 16th and I can't stop my mind running...
Can somebody share some experience please before I start driving myself mad?? 😔🙏
I bled every day from weeks 5-8. It was terrifying and nothing could take my mind from it. It’s so hard to believe when you’re in the midst of it that it’s actually really common! I’m 38wks now with no further issues. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Hi. I was spotting on and off for the first 12 weeks. I also had a massive bleed at 7 weeks and again at 10. I had a haematoma that had likely been caused when I had my IVF transfer. I now have a happy 18 month old ☺️ I know bleeding is terrifying and awful but it isn't always the worst outcome, although I know it feels like that. Have you thought of getting a private, earlier scan? Or going to your EPAU? Mine were amazing when I had bleeding. I got a scan the same day.

I didnt really want to have a too early scan as I read people have scan too early and worried that sometimes they dont see what they expect to see which would worry me more, so I decided to wait it out till Thursday but then on Saturday 3am I had to go to A&E yesterday with strong cramps and heavy bleeding and they couldnt scan as it was the weekend so I will try to arrange to have a scan tomorrow... 😓
I had spotting at 5 weeks then quite big bleeds with clots at 6 and 7 weeks and all is well. I did hcg tests with medichecks to put my mind at rest before I did a private scan at 6 weeks. I bled still after scan so didn’t help me relax for long so then saw epu at 7 weeks then clinic scan at 8 weeks. X

Hey ! I was in the same situation right after 6 weeks, red spotting with bits of clot I went to ER for a scan and we discovered a hematoma and that's the reason. Then I had brown discharge on and off, Hematoma was there till week 9. I just had my first anatomy scan after 13 weeks, it's all cleared now. I understand it's terrifying when we see blood, it was during the middle of night. Do ccheck if you can book for a scan to have a peace of mind. I wish you good luck !

Hey, Had a huge bleed and cramping after the spotting that I ended up in A&E, thankfully since that bleeding settled I had no more spotting at all... 🙏
I had a scan last monday and it was all good, baby right size, strong heartbeat so it was such a huge relief... 💕

Hi dear ! Glad to hear. I will be 16 weeks this weekend. Awaiting for the next big scan in June around week 20. First anatomy scan and blood work was all good. Keeping my fingers crossed here. Each week is like a milestone and feels like big accomplishment 🤩. I will continue to remember you in my prayers.

have you contacted your local EPU to see if they can scan you? Or your clinic since you have red blood? As 10 days feels like an eternity to wait! I’ve been in your shoes and had both a negative outcome and my little boy as I said but the waiting is the worst part so hopefully you can get a scan earlier somewhere xxx
I didn't really want a scan early as I hear early scan might not show what we want to see and that would have worried me more... but I had a heavy bleed and really bad cramps over the weekend I ended up in A&E so I will go to the clinic tomorrow to do a scan... 😔
Defo I normally wouldn’t suggest an early scan unless there was bleeding. I had be at 5+4 with my little boy due to really severe bleeding (my clinic is normally very against early scans) and whilst it didn’t guarantee anything or tell me much I did get to know it wasn’t ectopic and the reason for the bleed was a SCH. So if there’s bleeding it can be helpful to get an idea. I’m so sorry you ended up in A&E 😢 that must have been so scary! Can’t believe they didn’t scan you either though! I hope your clinic support you and you get to the bottom of it soon and I am also really hoping it’s good news xx
They couldnt do a scan as it was the weekend and they didnt have anyone in who can do it... but they did blood and HCG level was very good and they checked the cervix which was closed so it wasnt a miscarriage...My clinic is not helpful at all... I tried calling them they said they will call me back but they never did, then I sent them an email saying I am going there tomorrow then suddenly miraculously they have seen my messages and called me they don't do scans on monday... 😔
So I have to try to get into EPU if I can self refer myself... stressful enough let alone when you not getting the right help... 😔
I had the same thing. I am currently 6 weeks 4 days. I called my clinic and had my scan yesterday. It is a hematoma. No one knows what will happen now but I was put on bed rest and had meds changed. Try to get a scan. With your clinic or private. It is easy after you know the reason. And if you need rest is best to start right away so it doesn’t get worse. That is at least what my doctor thinks. I know that some think that rest doesn’t change the outcome.
I hope you are ok! My clinic said not to worry until its proper red or heavier... but I had a heavy bleed with bad cramls over the weekend so will try to get a scan tomorrow... 😔
It is so easy for someone on the phone to say don’t worry. Like that is possible.
I probably left the bed for only about 30 minutes all together since Wednesday. So I am hoping that things are going well but who knows.
Did your bleeding stop now? I got magnesium for cramps. I hope you can get a scan tomorrow and that everything will be okay. Or maybe just go to the ER if you have heavier bleeding. In my country you are advised to do that in case of bleeding during pregnancy.
Its good that you are resting! Hope it resolve itself soon! 💕We had to go to A&E yesterday at 3am as I woke up with cramps which got so much worse and then heavy bleeding... I was 100% sure it was a misscarriage as the pain was really bad...
On the way to A&E the pain eased off a bit but I was in bits...
At the hospital they couldnt do a scan as it was the weekend but checked my cervix and it was closed so they said it wasnt a miscarriage which was nice to hear... They kept me in for 12 hours to monitor me and done a HCG test... The bleeding stopped, so did the pain, the HCG came back good but I feel really week and sometimes I have some light cramps, and when that happens I am worried it will happen all over again... 😓
Tried to call my clinic 3x yesterday to book an emergency scan for monday but all they said a nurse will call me back but they never did! 😓 So my partner said we will just drive there tomorrow so they won't be able to not do a scan... if not we try a private scan or EPU...
Wow! Sorry to hear all that. Sounds awful and very stressful! At least you got good news that the cervix is closed.
I cannot understand your clinic. They should be there for their patients, not just take money. Try to get a scan tomorrow and try to rest as much as possible. I hope you will get some answers and some positive news tomorrow. I will be keeping my fingers crossed. Hope to hear from you tomorrow ❤️

When is your next scan? How long did they suggest your bed rest?
My next scan is on 22nd if I make it until then. Also bed rest at least until then. It seems like an eternity away. But I hope me and the baby make it.
I just hope everything goes well for both of us and we get our babies.
I only been in bed on and off for 2 days and it driving me crazy already... Not sure how you cope with it... If you would like to have a chat sometime, just let me know... 💕

Bed rest is a little surreal but you get used to it 😂. I was on bed rest for 7 months with my first pregnancy and I swear to God that I will do it again, if that means that the baby survives.
We really are is the same boat 🙈. Nothing else to do but to wait. And I don’t know about you but I detest things I have no control over.

I had a huge period like bleed at just over 5 weeks. Epu wouldn't look at me until I was at least 6 weeks( longest week of my life!) I decided to do a private scan. My private scan was able to confirm hematoma and to expect more of it which allowed me to relax when more came. My near 15 month old is now asleep in the bedroom. Sometimes it happens, try not to worry but get a private scan if you can and help alleviate your fears! X

I was spotting and bleeding on and off up to 12 weeks the blood varied from pink trough proper red up to brown. The last bleed was proper with red colour at 12 weeks. I was never diagnosed with hematoma or any cause of bleeding. It did most likely happened thanks to cyclogest witch made more blood circulation in my cervix.
Baby was always fine currently 16 weeks pregnant.

Hi I never used the pessaries vaginally for me it was easier back way. I was explained by obstretisian progesterom helps with blood circulation in womb and cervix it can lead to a bit bleed from cervix like in my case tough I was using them rectaly . I had two extra ultrasounds up to 12 weeks just to be on safe side.

I’m 6 weeks also , I have had brown off and on since last week . I did have some strange tissue / small clot I am hoping it’s just my body clearing out - strange as it sounds . The anxiety before the first scan is a huge thing , have you spoken to your clinic about it ? X
