Cancelled FET feeling defeated

We did a fresh cycle and transfer in September 2023, 4 embryos, one transferred which implanted but ended in an early miscarriage. Lined up for a FET April 2924 but unfortunately been cancelled due to lining breaking down and fluid in the uterus.

Just feeling so deflated. This journey is so so mentally hard and it takes over every minute of life. We get married last year and I’m not even excited or planning because I’m so mentally drained thinking about fertility. Not sure what only question is or asking here but I’m losing hope.

Hi there. So sorry to read what you’re going through. I’ve not been in the same situation with a cancelled FET so can’t offer any advice on that I’m afraid but like many others on here, I’ve had other unexpected issues crop up.

This process is tough. I think it’s difficult not to feel defeated at times especially when you’re in the midst of the storm and it feels like it’s not stopping. What I will say is, take time to go with how you’re feeling and soon enough things will feel better. I know some ladies have found counselling very useful so might be helpful to be able to speak to somebody? Just do whatever gives you a bit of joy for the moment until you feel stronger.
