Fading symptoms?

I'm 9 weeks 2 days pregnant and up until now I've experienced intermittent nausea, an insatiable hunger, bloating, and intermittent constipation. I felt sick as a dog on Tuesday the nausea was so bad. But since then, I've felt fine. No nausea, no bloating and I'm not constantly hungry. Today I've woken up early because I'm worried my symptoms are fading and I may have had a missed miscarriage. I'm especially worried because normally once I'm awake, no matter the time of day/night, I have to eat immediately otherwise I feel sick. My next scan isn't until next Monday and my work schedule doesn't allow any wriggle room to have an earlier scan so I'm freaking out! Has anyone had anything like this happen but everything turned out fine? Really looking for some reassurance

Hey lovely. Hormones levels constantly fluctuate and consequently symptoms come and go - in my case it went away for a couple of days, begged for it to come back and it surely did come back with vengeance. And I had this cycle multiple times. If you search this or other forums you'll find that this is very common. It's most likely nothing to worry about, so try not to worry unless you have other symptoms such as severe abdominal pain and/or bleeding, or they don't come back after some days. I know it's easier said than done! Xxx

Thank you, that's really reassuring. My symptoms have fluctuated in the past, but this just feels different. I'll try and stay positive x

Try not to worry and enjoy not feeling ill. I remember the nausea disappeared as quick as it arrived when I was pregnant. I was worried all the time, the only time I felt ok was after a scan but that only lasted a few days lol.

Lol, yes I do that too! Feel relief at the scan then start to worry again days later. I'll try and take this as a good sign. When did your nausea disappear? x

hey, my symptoms started to stop between 9/10 weeks as well. Totally freaked me out too but seems to still be all ok, think we are the lucky ones that don’t suffer as long! Hope your scan gives you some reassurance xx

Thank you. That's such a relief to hear! The not knowing makes me crazy! Yeah, it seems like such a short time of having symptoms, but I guess I should count myself lucky x

I weirdly had more nausea between 4-5 wks than later on 🤷‍♀️ it just seems to come and go. Haven’t felt nauseous now for awhile and then my partner cooked some fish for his dinner tonight and I very nearly 🤮. I remember googling like mad too but seems like we aren’t the only ones!

Hi this happened to me exactly 4 weeks I was horrible nausea, couldn't eat , every smell trigger my nausea I felt a bit dizzy from time to time and had headache. I reached the week 9 everything disappeared. I did have scan 9 weeks +3 days everything was perfect. I was told this happened because placenta is taking over.
