Hi! I had today my 4th embryo transfer (3 failed). Last week I had an ultrasound to measure the endometrium lining, everything seemd fine (10 mm), no problems in the uterous. I started progesterone Friday night. Today I arrived to the clinic, the doctor did an ultrasound and the endometrium seemed very irregular (more “fat” on a side) the doctor didn’t know what to say. He said maybe it’s a polip (but it seems very unlikely to have such a polip from one week to the other) or maybe the endometrium grew really much… he was not certain at all but we transferred the embryo (very nice blastocyst). Stupidly I haven’t ask if it would be better to froze the blasto again so now I’m afraid I already lost my chance… someone with some similar case? Thanks

Endometrium lining
If it helps at all I don't think you can refreeze a blastocyst. Every time they are frozen, defrosted, there is a chance they will perish. So if it makes you feel any better, regardless of your lining, your chance would always be better if put back in once the blastocyst has been defrosted.
Thank you, it actually is helpful, although I read that some center do thaw again but I was so shocked that I didn’t asked… I really do no understand how all this was possibile… Wednesday I hat a perfect lining 10mm eveything ok and the week after such a strange lining (not homogeneous) but I mean I didn’t think is possible that a polip start to grow in 5 days…
Unfortantely I think polyps react to your hormones. So you can actually have one in one cycle and then shed with the lining and not have one in another. I think it depends on the clinic and the size and position of the polyp whehter they go ahead with the transfer. I know that with my first polyp they waited for a while to see if it would disappear before referring me back the hospital to have it removed, but with the second they actually removed it as part of the egg collection and then delayed the transfer. But I do know people whose tranfers have gone ahead despite having a polyp.
