So I have a massive needle phobia and so my hubby has done all 100+ injections we’ve had to do (yes we counted!)
We have to do one tonight but he’s stranded on a train due to the storms. So I might have to do my own for the first time (or risk doing it a couple of hours late)
I’m not sure if I can do it myself- literally crying now, feel sick, any advise, help….

I don’t have a phobia but I don’t like them. I never did any years ago. This time I bit the bullet and went for it. I held something cold (ice pack) on my skin turn just went for it. Honestly once you’ve done 1 you’ll be fine. You got this! X
If you’ve already had over 100 injections, you’ve got this! Don’t think about it too much. Just jab it in, and it’ll be over in 10 seconds. And *definitely* have a treat waiting nearby as a reward afterwards - giant Easter egg?? Good luck xx
I’m single and also have a fear of needles. The first time I did it, I was crapping myself. But - genuinely - it became second nature after a few goes. Are you doing it in your stomach? Just firmly squeeze a roll of fat in your hand, and slowly push the needle in with your other hand. Push down on the syringe until all the liquid has gone, wait for 10 seconds or so, and then slowly pull out. All done! Can you watch a few videos on YouTube beforehand? x
I don’t have many words of wisdom as I’m exactly the same as you and in 3 rounds never done one myself 😬 so I TOTALLY get it! Maybe ice it first and use every ounce of courage you have to just jab it 😁 think how good you’ll feel after, your husband would be so proud lol. Good luck xxx
Use an ice pack on your skin first so you don’t feel it and just go for it. Football61s instructions above are great. Well done for being super brave!!! It’s horrible to have a phobia but we are all here for you and you’ve got this 💪
