I’ve got my BFP but I’ve just done another clear blue digital and still only says 1-2wks it should now 2-3wks as I’m now 4wks 5 days last time I had a similar situation but would get over 2-3wks then it turned out to be blighted ovum had anyone had issues with these tests? Does any of the medication interfere with the results? I’m on a high dose of progesterone 6 suppositories a day plus estrogen TIA just added in the other test I’ve been doing started testing 6pt

hi lovely. I’m not aware of medication altering results but I do know mine took ages to change, he’s coming up 4 years old now…
Thank you that’s reassuring, I had some implantation bleeding last night too and my other tests are getting steadily darker I just done a different brand which I’ve been keeping and this line was the darkest yet, I do t my other digital clear blue with 2nd morning wee hoping for a change and was the same my head is going to be all over the place now
Progesterone and oestrogen don't affect the tests. But they can be a bit unpredictable. If you're worried the only way to get certainty is HCG blood tests - your clinic may do them, or your GP or there are private options (including online labs) - might not even be too much more to pay than the cost of few of the digital tests which seem to be very expensive now. You're probably a bit too early for a scan. But if the lines on the other tests are getting darker then it may just take a few more days.
Thank you for your reply my clinic don’t offer the blood test but yes that’s a good idea I may look at one privately would like to put me mind at rest I’m torn now between continuing to test as that may prepare me for the worst or just plow on and wait for my scan
My clinics didn't, in fact my NHS one seemed pretty angry that I'd got them done and refused to interpret them. But after early losses and a PUL, I think they're the only way to know what's going on and get a realistic picture. My GP has been brilliant and always done them and it was them and a private sonographer that got me the care I needed on the PUL, when my clinic had kind of disappeared, but I know it's very hit and miss with GPs. Your test lines look good though so hopefully it's all fine.
I hate those clearblue tests - I would chuck them away and just focus on your other ones - the progression looks absolutely perfect xx
Thank you for the advice I’m looking into them, I wish I’d never done that bloody test to be honest 🤦♀️
I hate them so much - I've had so many evap lines on the non digital ones which are heartbreaking - and wrong weeks on the digital ones - I'd never use them again!
That makes me calm down a bit knowing that you’ve had inaccurate digitals too I’ve got to call me clinic tomorrow with results I know they’ll just tell me to take no notice too
