I posted some time ago about bleeding (1 and a half days of bleeding. not heavy but had clots) and I was on injections. Did the injections for 19days. I am now just on 6 weeks. I went for a scan and the doc said there's the sac but couldn't see anything and no heartbeat. to say i am feeling devastated is an understatement. He wanted too give me meds to "clean me out". However decided to wait another week and rescan.
My question... and hope is - has anyone had this same scenario but gone on to have a healthy pregnancy and birth.

Hi. The earliest I like to scan is 7/40wks. All I can say is keep up with all your prescribed medication, including the Folic acid, and hopefully you will get to meet your little bean. Thinking of you. Diane
Just wanted to say I started bleeding at around 6-7 weeks pregnant and it turned out to be a blood sac that had ruptured (luckily nothing that would affect the baby, but I genuinely thought I was having a miscarriage at the time as it was pretty heavy). I had a scan at 7 weeks and baby was still there and had a heart beat. Hoping that everything works out for you and sending lots of baby dust x
My first successful IVF pregnancy they saw a heartbeat at 5+2 which the sonographer said was super early, but we already knew it had been an early implanter and the HCG was very high. Second time was natural and went along around 6 weeks and they couldn't see much at all - a gestational sac and yolk sac mainly, and no embryo. And that really worried me but they said come back in two weeks. Having had a PUL before I was relieved just to see there was something in the right place and we knew the implanation must have been later and the HCG was lower, so I just had to hope. Went back at just over 8 weeks and it was there and wriggling So it's a difficult wait but there is hope. You may also want to get HCGs done in the meantime for extra information.
hi I’m so sorry you are in this limbo 😢 did they say whether the sac was the right size and whether it had a yolk sac in it or whether it was empty? I’m glad they said to come back in a week about is very early to be certain of what’s happening yet! Xx
yes 6 weeks might be too soon to see… at 6.1 days I saw nothing and they said suspected MM blighted ovum, but then by 6.4 everything turned up and was there - so it might be just too early. I do hope that’s the case for you too. Sending love xxx
