Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is someone who has had a six day transfer. I was waiting for my three embryos to be ready for pgt and today they told me that they will not make it to pgt and we need to transfer them. I will have my transfer tomorrow if everything goes as planned.

Hi, Many people have successful transfers with day 6 embryos, including me. While a good quality day 5 embryo is more likely to be chosen for transfer before a good quality day 6 embryo, there's only a small difference in success rates between the two. This will obviously be clinic dependent, so you could ask someone in the embryology lab at your clinic to talk you through what difference in success rates they see between day 5 and day 6 embryos.
Sorry, I just re-read your message and realised I got the wrong end of the stick. I think there is a difference in success rates between day 5 and day 6 fresh transfers, but they can still work. There's not much of a difference in success rates between day 5 and day 6 frozen embryo transfers though.
