I’m46yo. I was scheduled for IVF transfer but found out my embryos were no good. So i went with plan B, went with 2 donor embryos 5AA and 4AA (same day I was supposed to have my embryos, so I did go through stimulation etc) Transfer on Feb. 22nd. By 24th, had sore boobs- I’m guessing due to the trigger shot i received for plan A . On 25th, very slight twinges on left and right side- very minimal. By 26th, i woke up and WHAT! Like NOthing happened.. As in no sore breast, no cramps, no bleeding, no nausea, except increased appetite- I’m on a steroid - do that may explain that . Other tha n that, NOTHING. I’m now freaking out . Im day 8 had 5d blastocyst- . Anyone ever experienced this and still tested positive? As in ZERO symptoms on day 8. It’s my 2nd attempt ( my first attempt was ivf using my embryos 4AB- same progression of symptoms) this is why I’mvery worried. Thanks for reading and sharing. This page has helped me a lot.

I had zero symptoms on my successful transfer - I was also on steroids and I heard that they can suppress them.

I also had no symptoms up until 6 weeks so don’t worry. It’s too early to tell. I think the meds confuse things quite a bit but honestly no symptoms is not a bad sign. Good luck x
Please try not to worry about not having any symptoms from day 8. The amount of hormones we have coursing through us plays havoc with our bodies. And I've read about so many women who had no symptoms, only to go on and get a positive pregnancy test. I'm 45yo and used DE. I was already feeling like my period would come before I even had the transfer lol. I'm bloated, crampy, irritable with sore boobs, so I know I can't trust any symptoms I experience during my TWW.
Take it easy, and lots of TLC to yourself. All the best and lots of sticky baby dust ❤️
yes! I’m 44 and used donor eggs. No symptoms at all after transfer. I only stared to feel nauseous when I was approaching my early scan at 7weeks!
I’m now 26 weeks!!
I ate lots of walnuts as they’re supposed to help with implantation and also took lubion injections as after transfer my progesterone levels dropped!

I just had a 5day FET too. I’m 43. I’ve had 6 pregnancies in total. 1 living child. The others were early miscarriages and one full term loss. I had pregnancy symptoms straight away with all my natural pregnancies. Sore breasts, nausea, purple nipples etc immediately as soon as 1 week post my ovulation. But with this FET I have nothing. No symptoms at all. Only slightly fuller breasts and slight twinges and very slight lower back ache the first week, which I’m guessing is from the progesterone. My beta HCG came back positive on day 10, I was in complete shock. It’s still also rising and I’m 4w5d now and still have zero symptoms. It doesn’t feel real! So I hope this reassures you as having no symptoms does not mean you are out!

Hi! I had on and off symptoms after DE and I know I freaked out over this too. Now have a 3 year old and going again next week to try for baby no.2. Good luckxx
Wonderful news. Double congrats 🎊 Off topic- any regrets with DE? Any issues bonding? My husband obviously has zero concerns as it’s his sperm. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever stop thinking about it. Nevertheless, I’m so grateful I’ve been given this opportunity. Transferred 2 embryos. OTD tomorrow so… fingers crossed everyone. I’m praying it’s a BFP

Making the decision to do donor eggs was one of the most challenging yet ultimately rewarding journeys my husband and I have taken. Like you, we had exhausted various fertility treatments, and our fertility specialist recommended donor eggs as our best option to conceive.
Initially, there were numerous concerns and uncertainties, particularly surrounding how to approach the topic with our future child. My husband, in particular, grappled with questions about how to tell our child about their biological origins and what the implications might be for them emotionally.
After much research and contemplation, we decided to proceed with using donor eggs. We sought guidance from a fertility counselor who helped us go through the emotional and ethical complexities of this decision. One of the key insights we gained was the importance of being open and honest with our child about their conception story from an early age.
Our journey led us to Cyprus, where we underwent treatment with an anonymous donor. While the process itself was challenging, knowing we were taking proactive steps toward fulfilling our dream of becoming parents gave us the courage to move forward.
Now, with a beautiful 3-year-old child conceived through donor eggs, we are immensely grateful for the decision we made. We've made a commitment to be transparent with our child about their origins, believing that honesty and openness will foster a healthy understanding of their identity and a strong sense of family connection.
Seeking support from a fertility psychologist or counselor was instrumental in helping us deal with all the emotions of doing donor conception and develop a plan for communicating with our child about their unique journey into our lives. While the decision may not be easy, know that you are not alone, and there are resources available to support you every step of the way.
Ultimately, our experience has taught us that love knows no biological boundaries, and our DE child is cherished just as deeply as if they shared our genetic makeup. We are eternally grateful for the gift of parenthood, however it may have come to us, and we look forward to sharing our child's story with them as they grow and develop. Good luck on yout journey. one thing I never found here was the issue of THIRST. I normally drink one-two bottles of water /day (I know terrible). Like I’m bad with hydration however since I got the transfer and pregnant. I’ve been consuming no less than 4-5 per day. Like you have to torture me to drink that much prior to transfer but now if I do not drink, my throat is dry and lips cracked. Just putting that out there
