Transferring NHS funding

Good morning everyone! Hope all are well.

So my 8th transfer was ANOTHER unsuccessful round. But what can you do. I’m going on holiday in 10 days so I’m just going to fully throw myself into enjoying that. Hope the other ladies who were transferring at a similar time had better outcomes than me, and if so good luck 💞

Basically I have one more funded round left on the NHS. But I am absolutely not in any way staying in the current clinic I am in. They literally cannot even get you follow up appointments due to being so understaffed. Plus my history with them is not the best. I have zero confidence left. However I do still have one frozen embryo left with them which is poor quality. So I don’t hold out much hope on that front. I really want to move clinics and transfer my funding, but I’m not sure how to do this. My GP has written a letter to a clinic for me but neither of us was sure if this is the right way to go about it. So I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience? Or time frames that it took. If it’s not possible or going to take ages I am at the point where I will just get a loan and move on myself. So any advice or experience is very welcome.

Thanks anyone who takes the time to read this xxx

Hi 👋🏻 Sorry I can't really comment on moving across the funding as I have no knowledge of this. I just wanted to say I'm really sorry you have had a negative result on your transfer. I remember you were on prontogest this time and that stuff is agony. I relate to the frustration after many attempts trying and several transfers. I hope you have a lovely holiday and are able to switch off for a while and enjoy yourself x x

Thanks so much Skittles! The injections themselves weren’t too bad being done. But I’m still getting twangs in my butt cheeks weeks later haha. I would dread to do that for 12 weeks! Think I’d feel it for life. Yes definitely, this holiday is just what the doctor ordered. Hoping your getting somewhere too with your next steps and decisions, wishing you all the luck in the world xxx

hi

I have changed clinics for my second cycle.

I went for a private consultation at another hospital and explained my situation and the consultant sorted it all for me so I could change to them and stay on the nhs.

If you have any questions please feel to message me xxx
