Just wondering if anyone has any success stories after having an ICSI cycle, particularly when suffering with severe endometriosis.
I am stage 4 (kissing ovaries, 5cm cyst and small fibroid) and about to start my first fresh ICSI cycle. Husband has lower mobility and morphology. I am on an anti-inflammatory diet, which has really helped reduce my endo symptoms and helped to improve my AMH (from 8 to 14).
Is there anything I should be eating at particular stages of this process? I think I read somewhere about eating a pineapple core? Not sure!

Wanted to wish you good luck and hope you get lots of replies to your post . Pineapple core is mentioned - diet should also include leafy greens -citrus fruits -dairy products -nuts and seeds Limit caffeine intake -try fruit teas Also opt for lean foods such as chicken or fish[salmon ,tuna ,mackerel ] and reduce red meat and processed foods
Hey .... I literally could have written your post. Stage 4 endo , ovaries tethered to uterus, huge adhesions between bowel and uterus, bowel lesion (10cm bowel effected minimum) and bilateral endometriomas.... Husbands sperm quality and numbers are v v low.
We did ICSI and it stuck on round 2 ( 1st fet) currently 14+4weeks pregnant! We were given less than 10% chance....and so far.... Appear to be getting our little miracle ! It happens..... Stay positive.
Just to say....I'm also on an antiinflammatory diet ( no gluten, reduced red meat reduced dairy) but otherwise not doing anything 'special'.
Oh my goodness congratulations! That is amazing news 🤩
Trying to stay positive but also realistic. I know it may take a few tries. Did you find the fertility medication annoyed your endo a lot? I was warned by my fertility clinic not to use a hot water bottle😩, which used to be my go to. Just paracetmol.
Thank you so much for replying. It gives me a lot of hope for our situation.
Hey 😊That's what I did. Try to be hopeful but grounded. Just know that it's possible 😊🤞
Fertility medication did a mixture of flare me and calm my endo ... I actually felt worse between cycles !! When full force endo was back ..... So overall I don't think the medication progressed or angered my endo at all and certainly my endometriomas never grew due to the meds.
After getting pregnant....things have been less than comfortable...they don't warn you of that lol ... A uterus covered in endo and tethered to everything in your pelvis growing and stretching ...is bound to be uncomfortable I guess. Cramping is severe most days ...esp as I advance further into it ... But I'm used to it now 🤷 and it's getting less scary.
For sure avoid hot water bottles....during the TWW and until 12 weeks but also going forward (your embryo is more fragile in the early stages) ...you want to avoid overheating to protect the embro.
Useful to know! I kind of suspected it would be a mixture! Eek I guess its to be expected that you would be uncomfortable with all the adhesions. Useful to know what I should expect if a miracle happens. But goodness it is worth it!
I also do accupunture every few weeks. Kicking it up a gear to prepare for the start of my treatment. Maybe accupunture could help with your cramping as an alternative? Good luck with the rest of pregnancy. I really hope the cramping settles down.
