It's 12 days after my embryo transfer and I'm super nervous to test. Since the transfer I've had a bit of spotting (the first time this happened was 3 days after the transfer and I had a tiny bit 2 days ago too). I've not really had much breast tenderness at all and definitely no increased urination. I don't 'feel' pregnant and I'm super worried about testing in a couple of days. Any advice?

Spotting can be so many things - I've had it and bleeding before OTD when it's been a chemical or around the time implantation on a successful FET (and throughout that pregnancy), and this pregnancy around the time my period was due. Equally, on my first early loss and on a PUL I didn't have any. So I wouldn't trust that particular symptom, save sometimes it can indicate low progesterone so may be worth asking your clinic about that. Other symptoms have also not really correlated - the first time I had a transfer I really 'felt' pregnant (cramps, boobs massive and tender, headaches, bloating, exhausted.... ) and it was a BFP but when we got the HCGs it hadn't really got going or developed. Next time same end result but no symptoms at all really. On the two pregnancies that have progressed, for me I realise now I didn't get any proper pregnancy symptoms until 5 or 6 weeks and then they were unmistakable. Before that I think most symptoms can be the meds. I don't think I needed to pee more for ages and even then it wasn't that noticeable, only I was looking out for it. My nipples never got sensitive and the area around them didn't get darker (at any point). Every woman and every pregnancy is different though, I just wouldn't worry about symptoms or lack of just yet.
Your replies always give me so much hope and just that little extra boost 💖 I’ve been symptom spotting (in a bad way) even though I was determined not to this time 🙄
Hi, just wondering how your bleeding was like before your chemical?
I’ve been having BFP on home pregnancy tests but light pink / brown spotting and I’m 9 days post transfer. Just wondering when did your bleeding start? I have so much trauma from all of this my mind immediately goes to the worst case scenario
During my chemical pregnancy I had brown spotting the day after transfer and quite heavy brown spotting 10 days after. This time I had light pink spotting 3 days after transfer and light pink spotting 10 days after transfer. I know that the type of spotting varies, so I'm not sure if colour really matters. I will also say that my chemical pregnacy was with a 3bc embryo and this one was a 5aa pgta tested embryo. I'm just hoping everything is OK with this one! 🙏
I'm 15dp5dt/4w6d pregnant on medicated FET. No symptoms, certainly didn't feel physically pregnant until spotting started on Day 8/9, which prompted testing and it was BFP. I did it with DH and that helped with the fear at the moment of truth!
Will be thinking of you on your OTD Try to stay busy and take your mind off things - if this is possible at this time ! Eat well - drink plenty of fluids and take any meds you have been given as directed
I know exactly the feeling of anxiety before testing, I had two BFN’s which crushed my souls both times but I just always knew I had to keep going. The third transfer is was a BFP. I felt exactly the same each time, there really was nothing that made me feel like it might have worked this time, so I know it’s easier said than done but don’t symptom spot. On my OTD I didn’t test until 9pm as I just couldn’t bring myself to take this test and see a blank strip again. I was shocked! Good luck xxxx
I'm going through same agony, I can sympathise. This time I have very little to no symptoms. My test day is tomorrow on my ten year anniversary. I wish upon a star. I wish we could have a group hug. 🫂 All the very best, you are not alone. 🙏🏾
