I had a blood test and my hcg came back as 1046. I’m only 4 weeks 2 days. Is this really high? Could I be having twins?

1046 hcg
hi, congratulations!
Mine was 1035 at 4w + 2 and I’m pregnant with a single baby. At the time I thought it was high but the nurse told me the number doesn’t mean much. I’m sure there is a possibility of twins, you'll soon see on your scan 💕💕
Congratulations on your BFP! You may get more responses about early and ongoing pregnancy on the Pregnancy Support forum, but my HCG was around 400 at exactly 4 weeks and going up 2.5x every couple of days, so it would have been roughly the same as your level by 4wks2days. I also googled as it seemed high and was going up fast and thought it may be twins, or even too high for a singleton and a sign something was wrong, but nope, healthy singleton. I think the actual numbers don't matter and the range is huge, and you just want a consistent doubling every 2/3 days at this stage. Your number is a really psotive indication of a healthy pregnancy. Only thing possibly to watch out for is sometimes high HCG can correlate with worse morning sickness (certainly did with me).
Congratulations, my first beta was around 1100 so similar time as you. Just a singleton, a big one...she's almost 4 now and packed full of personality. She's always been around 99% percentiles so I figure it started from day 1 of her implantation 🤣🤣 best of luckOh and I didn't have any major symptoms either, I thought I'd be very sick with such high levels but I was fine.
I’ve been really poorly with morning sickness. Don’t know why they call it morning sickness as it’s all day sickness. 🤣
