Hpv and ivf

I was told at my last smear I have hpv , clinic told me it doesn’t affect my treatment however after 2 failed transfers I’m wondering … I’m reading it has been shown to reduce implantation. Has anyone had hpv and successful ivf or share their story with me please ❤️

I had HPV in a smear and then the following year it was negative in that time I’ve had transfers and they have all implanted (unfortunately gone on to miscarriage later on). Dont think the clinic would let you transfer if they had any concerns at all about it! xx

yes I had HPV and CIN3 cells and had to delay treatment to have a Lletz and then 6 months for another smear to show CIN3 had gone they weren’t concerned that HPV was still there though and said that’s common. I went on to have a miscarriage and then my son that same year so it didnt affect implantation for me. My subsequent smears after birth have all been clear so I think it just resolved itself … I’m now having no luck trying for a sibling so for me it’s not been a factor either way xx

My pap smear and hpv test detected the 51 strain in 2017. I did ivf in 2019 the third transfer worked.

thank you for replying , my smear picked my hpv up only in October . Did you wait to do the ivf or did you try from 2017? I don’t know if having hpv might be affecting things , I don’t really get advice from my clinic tbh 😩 xxx
