Digital tests have not been very kind to me on this journey - And I have been told by my fertility clinic umpteen times not to use them due to inaccuracy & the worry that they cause. I just wanted to share this as on the same day I got 2-3 wks in the morning I also got 3 wks + in the evening.
The amount of digital tests I have bought that have either had an error, or caused me undue stress is ridiculous. And on this day they made my anxiety go through the roof !
Don’t read too much into the dates given & stick to the cheaper pink line variety’s for your own sanity 🙏🏼

I think they’re fairly accurate but it’s not accurate to test twice in one day as even on a line test the lines would vary throughout the day. No test can really tell you if the pregnancy is going well but you can sometimes see if it’s going wrong if the line gets lighter. It’s important to remember though that it doesn’t always get lighter as I’ve had strong positives two months after miscarriages before. The lines can’t really help you now, you just need to keep remembering that you’re pregnant now and try to stay positive unless something happens that tells you otherwise.
As an aside, I can’t use the ovulation line sticks (apparently I never ovulate) but the digital ones work for me (I ovulate every month).
Pregnancy wise I’ve used both and they’ve always been very accurate.
I think everyone as with pregnancy has different experiences with testing whether that be digital or non. I agree that on non digital lines would vary throughout the day, mine have always been stronger in the evening as opposed to with FMU. I guess perhaps that’s why I had 3+ the same day I had 2-3 but I wouldnt have expected that to happen. My post really is to just reassure anyone who is concerned of the dates given vs where they are in their pregnancy.
I have never used the line ovulation strips but have used digital and to be honest I also found them confusing as at one point I had my husband wee on it and it said he was in peak fertility 🤷🏻♀️
Sorry to hear about your miscarriages wish you well wherever you are on this wild ride x
Yeah lines and dates are a tricky beast! Yours looks like it’s going very well 🤞💪
😂 it’s always good to know your husband is at peak ovulation 🤦♀️
Ah I’m lucky in lots of ways, I have a six year old. Four miscarriages and a whole bunch of infertility and failed icsi but I do still have him so I can’t complain. I hope you manage to get through pregnancy with minimal anxiety, it’s a terrifying time but by the sounds of it you’re about halfway through the first trimester 🎉 good luck!
haha a tricky beast they are ! It’s a funny old thing this TTC / infertility / IVF journey - I had a miscarriage when I was 19, fortunately I don’t remember all of the details but it was a horrendous experience & one I really feel for anyone who has been in the same situation. When you’re younger it’s all about trying not to get pregnant and then when you want to, the methods used to prevent often contribute to the reason why you can’t.
And it sure is a terrifying time - I am 8 wks tomorrow, and have been on the phone this morning to my clinic about on / off sore boobs ! 🙄 everything sets my anxiety off, I just pray all goes well and at some point I am able to start enjoying !
I bet your hands are full with your 6 yr old x what a blessing & thank you for your well wishes 💫
