Hello ladies, is any of you experienced in hemorrhagic ovarian cysts? The sonogrpher found a big one in my left ovary (2.8cm) and I feel lost while no gynaecologist seem available to review me at this time of the year 😢

hemorrhagic ovarian cyst
Yesterday I also had the same information. She found a 2.2cm cyst. She told me that it will disappear in the next cycle. I hope so.
How do you feel? I am in a lot of pain 😢
I am sorry to hear that. I hope the doctors find the best solution to reduce your pain. Honestly, I cannot understand whether I have pain from the cyst or not, because at my left side I always have pain due to my stoma.
Hi! I’ve also had a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary that was 2.8cm was very painful but did resolve on its own eventually, went for another scan about 4 months later but Ive got another cyst now on my right that’s 4.6cm so i’ve been referred to gynae which is a 21+ weeks waiting list🤦♀️ i did get brushed off at first being told it’s common and normal and “every woman can deal with it you’ll be fine” but i’m still in lots of pain you just have to push to be seen keep making appointments about the pains getting worse they will help you eventually! sending love and best wishes❤️
Hi there, I had two of them on my left ovary. They were discovered through the ultrasound while I was already taking medication for the IVF short protocol cycle. The doctors were clueless, I bled heavily through the whole IVF treatment and when I finally had the egg collection, the doctor said they had already gone. I am waiting for an appointment with the gynaecologist which would take some time. I was told hemorrhagic cysts are nothing to worry about but I know how stressful it could be for you. I am really struggling to get any help through NHS, so I have had a few private appointments if that’s an option for you.
Hi, sorry to hear that you are going through this. I have also had a large haemorrhagic cyst - unfortunately it did not go on its own so I had to have surgery to remove it. I also had pain/discomfort from it. 🤞 that yours disappears from what I have read they usually come and go.
Bless you… Honestly I wish I was born men 😢 May I ask how large was yours? Maybe I need surgery too but nobody will see me at this time of the year
Haha same does seem much easier! I think I had it for 4 months and then consultant decided best to remove it via laparoscopy/cystecomy. Had to wait 2 months for op and then I’ve had 1-2 week off work/recovery and hoping to finally start 1st ivf round in 8 weeks. Everything seems so slow … completly understand frustration but I was defiantly told a waiting game initially to see if clears on own.
I promise in my next life I am either going to be a men, or a house cat! Much better life 😂
I am glad you got rid of it! Mine was found by chance on Saturday - I went for a scan because I missed my period in November and December. At that point there was no pain. But now it feels awful since yesterday 🙁 I am taking paracetamol and ibuprofen constantly.
The sonographer said they usually do surgery when it is over 3.5cm. Mine is 2.8cm. But I guess I will need to see what the gynaecologist says… when I find one available
I had one of these at a scan previously the nurse said it’s completely normal and happens on most women (just we don’t scan them all the time!) and majority will resolve in 2 cycles. It was pretty painful (I had quite a lot of free fluid as well) but at reacan was gone!
