I've had my first ever BFP earlier this week with my beta as follows;
11dp5dt - 169
14dp5dt - 532
From what I've searched online the numbers are on the lower than average side, although the progression has been encouraging.
Since yesterday morning I've noticed light spotting when I wipe. There has been some dark pink/light brown clots on and off along with mild cramping.
I know it's quite common at this stage and there's nothing I can do right now but to continue with the medications (cyclogist & progynova), but it's so hard to stay optimistic 😔
Next beta on 20dp5dt and an early scan booked towards the end of the year for when I'll be 6+4.
It's going to be a long Christmas...

Hi. Huge congratulations on your BFP, and wishing you all the luck in the world for your pregnancy. Please do you mind me asking how you are measuring your beta - are your clinic doing it for you, or do you do it at home? Thanks xx
I think these numbers look really encouraging! Try not to overthink although I know it’s much easier said than done! X
congratulations. Maybe use the suppositories rectally to reduce irritation to the cervix and ask for progesterone level check. I hope it settles. Your clinic might suggest adding lubion or increasing your cyclogest. Good luck
Hey lovely, thank you for your advise. From searching relevant threads on the forum I also started suspecting vaginal/cervical irritation from cyclogest.
I got to speak to a midwife from my clinic yesterday morning who agreed & switched to taking it rectally since last night. Still some brown spotting, but I feel like it's calming down. I'm hoping this does the trick...🤞xxx
