9dp3dt No symptoms

Well I’ve made it to day 9….not completey sane but not too crazy either.

A few days after transfer I felt my period might have been coming, slight ache in back. Maybe the odd twinge in ovary but honestly I think it was all in my head over analysing everything.

I’ve had no symptoms at all , no sore boobs , no cramps , nothing. No bloat , nothing. Thought I’d at least have some side effects from the progesterone . Which made me worry maybe I’m not absorbing it ? ! 🤯🙈

I’m going test 11dp3dt …

Just wanted to say good luck! I never get any sore breasts or any symptoms at all from progesterone or estrogen medications. I only get symptoms in my natural cycle around ovulation and before period or in ivf during stimulation for retrieval where my ovaries produced their own hormones.

I am not sure what this means. Both clinics I had treatment with couldn't care less about my lack of symptoms. So I am guessing it isn't telling of anything?

Good luck again!

Aww thanks …..it’s good to know not everyone gets symptoms. Scared to test but 3 more days 🙏🏼xx

Hi lovely,

I didn't have one single symptom on my successful transfer.....

All the others I had cramping, sore boobs, spotting, waves of nausea, hunger, thirst, extreme tiredness etc.

Wishing you lots of luck xx

Thank you…..it’s so strange, I feel nothing. Not even after egg retrieval . Keep poking my boobs so see if any sensitivity🙈. Only thing I feel is sore from prontogest injections 🙈🤞

Haha I did the same! Honestly no symptoms means nothing - symptoms at this stage are just caused by the meds.

Hi Rol. I wouldn’t worry too much about symptoms yet. Feelings you get are often just due to side effects of pessaries etc. just keep up with any prescribed medication and test he first urine of the day on the day recommended by your clinic. Good luck. Diane

That’s Diane, was just worrying a bit that no symptoms or even side effects was a definite bad thing. 🤞🤞

Hey Rol It's so hard not to symptom spot, you have done so welll in not testing yet.

When I had my positive test result I had no symptoms. When I had negative test I had no symptoms. Last time when I had negative test I had symptoms for about 3 days. It all seems very random.

Wishing tons of luck xx

Thanks Skittles. I’m wishing it was test day but at the same time, scared to face reality if it’s not positive. Hoping for a Xmas miracle xxx

Hope you’re ok x

All the best Rol81! I'm. afraid I don't have any answers but I'm in the same boat. I'm 7dp5dt and have been feeling really good 🙈 I usually have awful PMS so I don't understand how I don't feel crap on all the hormones 🤷 trying my best not to think about it but the closer I get to testing the more anxious im starting to get. Really hope you get your Christmas miracle ❤️

Hi Rol81

Firstly, good luck! I had no symptoms on my successful transfer so please do not read too much into that. Secondly, you are doing so well, not testing. xx

Thank you for your encouragement xx

In our first FRESH cycle, my partner had every 'symptom' under the sun, sore breasts, bloating, mood swings etc.. this cycle failed.

In our successful FET, Currently 13w4d, my partner had no symptoms at all during the TWW.

Pregnancy symptoms don't normally start until 5 weeks minimum. 'Symptoms' during the TWW are from progesterone generally.

I've done research on this and it seems that in a fresh cycle, due to the lack of time between ovarian stimulation and the transfer, the body exhibits alot more 'symptoms', this is based on the fact in a fresh cycle, your body creates its own progesterone AND then has added progesterone. In a down regulated FET cycle there is only synthetic progesterone which is building your body to the 'normal' level, not a surplus.

The point of this comment is really to reassure you that, having no symptoms in the TWW isn't a bad sign, infact, for us it meant success.

Best of luck to you - lots of baby dust sprinkled your way.

Thank you….i had a fresh transfer but who knows. Today I feel like my period is on the way , few cramps in the night and lower back ache this morning. But who knows….tests arrive today, testing tomorrow 🙈

Congrats to you and thanks again xxx

Well in this case, I hope its just because all the levels are perfect, 2 of my friends who did fresh transfers for the second time round didn't have symptoms, - there is definitely hope, I wish you all the best and sorry for presuming this was a FET! xxx

No don’t apologise , thank you for your messages. It’s good for me and anyone else going through this to know symptoms vary from each person. ❤️

I had no symptoms on my successful transfer apart from the odd cramp near the end, which I was convinced was my period coming- but it wasn’t! Good luck! X

Don’t worry about symptoms or lack off. I had/have had none this far. Zero, the odd twinge from the progesterone but nothing else.

Look after yourself, watch movies, Christmas shop, etc and the time will pass.

Today is my appointment with the egg donation team. Remember I made my appointment on my OTD when I went in for bloods as I convinced it was BFN. Felt exactly like all my failed cycles so no way to tell really. Fingers crossed lovely, just hang in there..hard to do I know…you are still in it until OTD….

Rol81 profile image
Rol81 in reply toleo1980

Thank you. Well OTD is Friday ( 13dpt) but I’m testing tomorrow . 🫣 it’s 11 days so should give me an idea…but I’ll test again Friday regardless x

Hang in there, you are doing so well 🍀🍀 I didn’t have symptoms until at least 6 weeks so don’t worry. I don’t think I had progesterone side effects either. Good luck x

Ah thanks Kitkat, it’s nice having all the support. Wasn’t expecting much of a reply but it’s been great. Let’s hope I get a positive and can give others hope xx

Hi Rol, I had no symptoms during the 2ww on my successful go - I thought it would be another BFN. Its weird, I remember thinking I would just know if it's worked as I would feel different and you really don't. Any symptoms for me only started after 6/7 weeks.

I really hope you get your positive, wishing you lots of good luck and hope you have a wonderful Christmas. X

Thank you xxx started getting a few cramps lower left side 🤨 but hoping it’s not my period. One more day 🤞🤞🤞

fingers crossed for you Rol81. Really hope you get your Xmas miracle.
