Day 3 of stims, no symptoms

I’m on day 3 of 450iu menopur and I don’t feel any different at all. Is this normal? I’ve read so much that people have headaches, nausea etc and I feel nothing, maybe it’s too early or maybe not everybody has side effects? What were your symptoms if any? Just looking for a bit of reassurance.

Hi Blue! I didn’t feel anything either and also had 450 menopor. Not until day 10 when I just felt so tired, bloated and thirsty. Enjoy it! Currently 10 weeks pregnant so it does work!

Although I can’t remember the dose I too had no side affects whilst taking Menopur and currently 20weeks xx

Hi, Ive not had any symptoms until the last day or so but started feeling tired. I'm on menopur 225 and gonal f 225. I'm on day 11 and now bloated tummy with a bit of pain, headaches and tiredness. I was really worrying about lots of symptoms but im praying this is as bad as it gets. Good luck with your cycle hun xxx

Hi, I’m day 12 and just been taken off menopur as things have gone a bit too busy. I felt nothing until about day 8. And now I feel a lot. The nurse did tell me that she doesn’t always see growth on day 7 when my first monitoring scan was. Slow and steady is what we need. Best of luck with your cycle x

Hi there, for my first cycle, I did not get any symptoms for at least a week and even then, my symptoms were mild and wee more to do with feeling some tenderness in my ovaries.

Thanks everyone that’s really good to know. I’ve only ever seen people talking about side effects so it’s great to know this isn’t always the case. I am 33 and have low AMH at 5.5 so I’m reaaaallly hoping I get a reasonable number of eggs xx

I didn't have any symptoms at all until the last few days when I was a TINY bit bloated! And I managed to get 20 eggs! Don't fret, I was expecting such severe symptoms so actually counted myself lucky!

Completely normal. I only had symptoms of “fullness” and was a bit emotional towards the end of stims.

Hi Blue, I had no symptoms either, until towards the end (maybe after 10/11 days of stims) when I felt a bit bloated and heavy. We got 17 eggs, so your body can still have a positive response even without symptoms. I’m now 15 weeks pregnant. Wishing the same for you - good luck on your journey.

Thanks everyone for your comments I am on day 8 of stims today and the bloat is real wow! I am in for my scan tomorrow so 🤞 things are moving as they should. I’m trying not to worry I know with my AMH I won’t have the same follicles as other people but I’m trying not to compare x

I just started 450iu yesterday and I’m bricking it about side effects. Saw one that said ‘rapid weight gain’. How rapid is rapid? Like wake up with it or in the space of 10 second like Professor Clump 😂

🤣🤣 honestly apart from being bloated for the second half of it it’s absolutely fine, I actually weighed myself this morning (maybe stupidly) I reckon I’m maybe a pound or 2 heavier but I mean that happens when I eat a big meal so 🤷‍♀️🤣 you won’t be rolling around tomorrow don’t worry xx
