hello, just looking for some advice. I am 14DP5DT - I started to see faint positives on day 9. I had a chemical pregnancy in august - only tested positive for 48-72 hrs then lines faded & my test was negative. I am so worried that my lines should be darker at this stage - I think I have had a later implantation so more towards the end of the 1-5 day range they give at embryo transfer. My clinic don’t do beta testing though I will ask when I go on Thursday to pick up some more meds, viability scan booked for 27th. My anxiety levels are through the roof… attaching tests from day 9 to now. I think comparison is the worst thing you can do in these instances, but sometimes you just need a sounding board ! x

Those look textbook positive progression to me! Those strip tests aren't the best in my experience but that looks like about as good and clear a line as you can expect with them. Good luck for the coming weeks!
Thanks ever so much for replying. I have used a couple clear blue digital but my clinic told me not to use those as with IVF timings can differ, so not to get hung up on the dates given. I’ve read some pretty mixed reviews about CB digital ! I’ve also used some cheap home bargain ones but to be honest I think they’re pretty crap - are there any you would recommend ?
Yes at least the test strips are cheap and not so reliable - CB are expensive and not reliable either!! The First Response Early Response tests seem to be the best, but can be hard to get a hold of sometimes. I use a mix of the test strips and FRER. Usually if I want a clear answer I use FRER and if I'm just confirming or seconding a result I think I know I will use the test strips. Anyway, when the results are as clear as those I wouldn't be too concerned! My comment was more when you said you hoped the line would be clearer/darker - I wouldn't get too hung up on that with those strips. If there is colour where it should be within the timescale it is likely a good result.
Thank you - that’s really informative and appreciated. I’ll try and get my hands on the FRER’s. I think you end up reading and going down rabbit holes and you just question everything in this whole process. I have to keep telling myself that no two pregnancy’s are the same. It’s been a really long time to get to this point so I am very tentative x
Those tests look really strong to me! I would be fairly confident if I were you.
Congratulations xx
I don’t think you need to buy any more tests- the progression on these is amazing! Congratulations, and wishing you all the best for your scan! You can possibly request HCG Blood test with GP if your clinic won’t give you one and explain due to anxiety/worries. It’s all such a stressful period of waiting and more waiting, that even when it’s positive it’s hard not to worry about what comes next! Good luck with everything x
I had a lovely strong line on the clear blue today - 🤞🏼 this is going in the right direction x
