8dp5dt evap or faint line? Going mental.

This is my 2nd FET, 1st one fail. Couldn’t do a fresh transfer due to OHSS.

I tested everyday on last FET from day 4 (mental I know but it gives me some sort of control so I don’t regret it) thought I may had seen some vvv faint lines but no colour.

I started testing 4dp5dt again this time and nothing straight away. Anyway, I did a test yday 7dp5dt PM and looked white so put it in a draw and looked again in an hour or so and could see a vvvv faint line. Did another test 8dp5dt AM and again nothing within the time frame and I went to work. I’ve got back this evening and looked at both tests again and I’m confused as both look like pink lines and I thought evap couldn’t be pink?

Just want some honest advice as I read an interesting article telling me you could never get any colour on an evap and this is definitely pink (doesn’t look as pink in photo but my OH who normally thinks I’m insane said actually he can see it’s defo pink now).

Picture attached, not great light but absolutely pink in person (and I wrote 7dp7dt instead of 7dp5dt by accident).

Anyone have this and go on to be successful or am I out?

hi there, I can definitely see lines in your photos. Perhaps do a test tomorrow morning and check for a line within 5 minutes? It should appear straight away at 9 days post transfer anyway xx

Yes I have got another one to do first thing. If it was a grey/white line I would 100% think evap - it is only confusing me because it is so pink and I didn’t think that could happen! And seems to have progression from the day before. Very strange and definitely haven’t got my hopes up.

definitely something there, hang in there. Line might be a little faint for 8dp but my lines didn’t darken until 12dp5dt and my HCG was 1035 🤷🏻‍♀️ so it shows that the line darkness isn’t that sensitive. Try and leave 48h between tests but i never took my own advice so totally understand how hard this testing time is xx good luck xx

I think I would be more optimistic if it had come up in the timeframe of the test, but both took longer so would always assume evap apart from it being pink has thrown me. Haha I never take my own advice either! Thank you.

Definitely a line there! From my experience iv never heard someone actually get an evap line, if there’s somewhat of a line then there’s ofcourse some hcg being picked up! Good luck and sending all the baby dust your way ♥️

Thank you so much, it’s just such a horrible time being in this limbo - I think I would have rather it not said anything at all than show up with those lines later as it’s made me spiral! xx

Hi lovely,I can definitely see the line and it looks similar to mine at that time, I am currently over 8 weeks pregnant ❤️

I have attached the picture so you can see it! Remember that the hcg levels double every 48 hours, so you should have a much darker line today 🤞🏻

They needed to dry completely to show as you can see them ❤️ so yeah it took longer than the 3 minutes. My advice, get some first response, they are the clearest! Xxx

Okay that’s a bit reassuring! This whole first response confuses me, what level is that? I’ve been getting ones that say they can pick up ‘as low as 10’ and it’s an early response but can’t seem to find anything lower than that. Xx

Same I think, it just clearer in the first response. I found it gave me peace of mind to see it more clear, but from today it should be more clear anyway x

so I have just done another one this morning, this has come up in 5 mins but is lighter than the 8dp AM… but came up quicker if that makes any sense at all? I’m getting ready for work so I’ll check it in a bit.!Picture again isn’t doing it justice either but defo pink in my eyes…. Send help, I’ve officially lost the plot 🤣

I never used boots brand so I’m not completely sure what it would look like at this stage. My tests with a different brand were only slightly darker than this at 9dp5dt. Also realized my tests were darker at night compared to the early morning urine ones. Keeping my Fingers crossed for you❤️

morning, defo a line there! I think the ones you read outside the timeframe I wouldn’t trust/compare and just hope this one gets darker for you. It is quite light for 9dpt (these are the tests I use) but as my clinic says a lines a line! 🤞🏽🤞🏽 ps my tests were always darker in the evening for some reason, even compared to next morning, in case that helps as I think everyone is different even though they alway la say use FMU xx

Yes I have seen a few people get darker in the evening which is why I have been testing twice a day like a lunatic 🤣 I only drink water and prob about 3 litres a day so god knows if that effects it xx

it looks promising! i am on the same boat, tested today and I saw a very very faint line, thought I am on day 10. i hope we will both see a darker line tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞by the way, do you know if the transfer day counts as day 0 or as day 1?

Apparently transfer is 0 so my transfer was last Monday so been counting Tuesday as day 1. My test date is Friday for a blood test so got a few more days for it to pick up xx

hi all, just wanted to update as I know how frustrating it is to find incomplete feeds. These lines did turn out to be correct finding HCG but unfortunately my lines got progressively lighter over last few days and beta confirmed HCG of 2 today so chemical pregnancy. So I will say that you can trust a pink line on these tests even if it comes up a lot later that the allotted 3-5 min timeframe to read the tests (nearly all of mine took longer), however, it’s all about line progression and if it gets lighter then unfortunately that does show the hcg getting lower.
