crying and stress 7dp6dt

I’ve been hyper sensitive and yesterday had a very emotional outburst with my husband (even if he’s not done anything wrong) - could intense crying affect inplantation? Has anyone else felt their emotions crashing one of the days after FET?

I’ve been trying to be positive most of this 2nd FET cycle. Our first one failed it was and excellent 5 day embryo, with 8.2mm of uterine lining. I just turned 45 a few weeks ago.

Doctors then did a few tests and said I have slightly low thyroid levels (so I’m on a small dose of thyroxine). They also injected a milky liquid to reduce any “natural killer cells”. I’m on daily dosage of 800 cyclogest and 8mg of estrogen each day. Together with some aspirin and clexan injections each day (to thin the blood). I haven’t had any implantation bleeding. Planning to do a home test tomorrow 8dp6dt and clinic blood test 10dp6dt.

I certainly hope crying doesn’t effect it - I’ve done enough of that the past week. I’m 8dp5dt

I hope so too! I was a wreck crying with deep groans and making noise….and I was reading about how it releases epinephrines and can affect implantation….and was having a bit of a panic…

Don’t know what they expect with all the hormones we’re taking. But I wouldn’t stress too much over it as that won’t help. Fingers crossed for you

I’m 3dp5dt and my emotions are a real roller coaster. Really tearful, panicky and then angry too! I think it’s completely normal to be a bit all over the place. Sending you the best of luck for your test x

so reassuring to know that I’m not alone in wondering what is up with me……I did speak to my husband and step kids and asked them to be more patient with me. Been trying to watch things which are funny, do a gratefulness journal and listen to calming music. Hope it all goes well with you too

Crying doesn't impact implantation. My dad died and we did a frozen embroy transfer the day after his funeral. I cried alot...infact i was crying as they were about to implant it, legs spread, room full of doctors etc as i was talking wbout my dad and how we had his funeral yeaterday and literally praying to him to make it work for us. I now have a month old who i am sat feeding and is the most chilled out baby! All the best of luck♡

So sorry to hear about your dad. My dad passed away in 2019, and the grief and stress I experienced took a toll on my body. I’ve had 3 abscess surgeries in the last 3 years….last one was earlier this year. So IVF had to wait until all of that was healed.

And so happy to hear the news of your 1 month old. Beautiful.

I have experienced terrible anxiety and uncontrollable crying off and on from day two of my transfer. I’ve never experienced anything so intense as this process (it’s my first try). Personally I think it’s probably caused by the pure stress of the situation- knowing the chances of success and just having to hope against the odds. My period would be due anytime now and I feel like I have period pains which is making me terrified. I really don’t think it’s worked. Sorry this isn’t a very reassuring reply! I hope so much I am wrong and it is a sign the transfer has worked!

Please don’t stress! The hormone medications, pregnancy and an upcoming period can cause the confusion. Wait for the blood test to confirm! Hang in there

Crying probably doesn't negatively impact implantation, but there is interesting research that laughter has a positive effect. I highly recommend binging on your favorite sitcoms or comedy movies around transfer. May help with stress and anxiety too. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/212...

Best of luck and try to keep you chin up and keep hope flowing. This works out (eventually) for the vast majority...

Yess! My sister asked me to force myself to laugh spontaneously when I’m really stressed :). It is a huge encouragement to be on this forum…..women supporting each other. ♥️

Hi! I was very emotional and cried a lot over nothing after my second FET. I think it was the hormones raging after a successful implantation. Fingers crossed it is a good sign for you too!

ladies, I had my 10days post FET blood test yesterday and it is positive! I’m 45 and never have been pregnant before. Dr said given my age, to take things easy as much as possible until the 3 month mark. Very thankful to God for this miracle. Thank you all for all your messages and love ❤️
