Day 3 fresh transfer success stories?

Hi dear ladies,

I had my egg collected yesterday, first cycle, I was expecting day 5 blast, but doctor arranged day 3 transfer, but is day3 has lower chance than day5? Any success live birth story about day3? Coz all my thought was focused on the 5th day, but day3? suddenly my brain was empty…..

Hi Avocado, good luck for your transfer. In principle day 5 embryos have more chances because they went through to more development milestones, but that doesn’t mean anything for your specific situation. I had 7 transfer so far, 5 were blastocysts (day 5) and 2 were day 3 embryos; my only 2 positives came from the day 3 embryo transfers. Day 5 were all BFN. One of the positives is my little girl, the other unfortunately a MMS at ~9 weeks. Stay positive!

I am pregnant as a result of a day 3 embryo transfer! I too was nervous but the embryologist assured me this was the only transfer they did until about 10 years ago. Try and relax and trust that your little embryo will be in the best place inside you. I also had no symptoms at all during the 2 ww and really thought it hadn't worked. Hi, I had 2 day try embryo transfered and the 2 implanted. My first son is from day 3 embryo. So do not worry. The embryologist told me its better its inside as its the rightful place to be. So do not panic this might just be it. The 2 blast i had from the batch which was kept toll fay 5. I layer pug th3m back in and non implanted. Though im pregnant now narurally. So, you never know. Guve it a try and i pray it works out and gi e you yojr miracle baby. I wish you all the best. xx
