hi all,

I am planning to get a PRP treatment in the coming week or so and would like to know if anyone has gone through the treatment.

I have adenomyosis and I am worried that it may aggravate it.

Any inputs would be hugely appreciated. Thank you !

I have spoken to 2 clinics. One says it aggravates your adeno other says it doesn’t!

Don’t know who is right!

Thank you

I've had this and have severe adeno. It's not caused any issues. It's helped my lining loads.

Thank you so much! Can you pls let me know if it benefited you in terms of egg quality or quantity? Did you have a low AmH? I have read it helps those who are below 40 and have a high AMH.

Hi Shwet! I am planning also to do the same treatment., but for me is a egg quality only. Most of doctors says that PRP just impact quantity. Could you pls send me the studies on quality. I am so overwhelmed now.

Hello,

it’s quantity really I haven’t seen any studies on quantity. It did help me with quantity though. My AMH and FSH got back to what I had when I was 41 so not bad. I am going for my final egg retrieval cycle so will let you know how I get on. I know it’s very hard to decide what’s best for you. I have taken DHEA in this cycle so not sure if that will help with quality!

Thank you for answering. Sorry you mean quantity only as you mentioned twice quantity? I just want to get it right as did is do overwhelming! Several doctors mentioned that DHEA doesn't help if you get a good testosterone results (which is my case). It seems when is quality is nothing that can be done.

Sorry I haven’t seen any studies on quality!

My DHEA levels started to decline recently so I was advised a dose of 50mg.The doctor ( consulted a doctor in New York) told me to take upto a positive pregnancy test! Don’t think so will do that but will check again. It has side effects so don’t want to take more if it’s not needed. I did test in between to check if my levels are ok and not extremely high!

Yeah if you have good testosterone levels then they would not recommend.

Hey. So I'm using DE now as I'm to old for my own eggs. Been on this train awhile now. But I have a severly damaged uterus from a miscarriage in 2017 have surgical intervention So can't answer about egg quality I'm afraid. Your main battle with Adenomyosis is estrogen loading as it feeds off it. But there no getting away from that with ivf unfortunately .

I mean prp is probs the most natural thing we put in out bodies during a cycle haha.

thank you for your response. I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

I am planning to ahead with it as I feel there is no harm in trying if there are no side effects.
