hello , I am definitely out my first fet has failed . I am 8dpt 5 day transfer and have stark white negatives . I have accepted its failed and struggling .
I have pcos and no other issues my first fresh worked day 3 . But I unfortunately lost her to fetal anomaly . I cant help but think i may have other issues thT caused it not to implant? Do you think my body just didnt take to the fet and prefers fresh transfer instead?
The embryo was 3bb and my lining and everything looked fine . I will have to do ivf again but im struggling and scared it will happen again . If it worked the first time does it mean i have no issues like endometriosis?
Surely they would have raised concern? If they thought i had it? .

Hi Pcosivf. A three day transfer takes longer to implant, so carry on with all prescribed medication and retest on the day recommended by your clinic. If this transfer has failed, then perhaps ask if you need a hysteroscopy to check your womb out and take a biopsy of the lining, with apologies if you have already had it done. You could ask if you need your Fallopian Tubes for any blockages. All the best. Diane
sorry to hear you’re having such a difficult time - ivf is such a tough journey and sadly bfn’s are common - even when everything looks ok.
Most certainly ask for some additional testing but equally it could just be a numbers game. Having a successful transfer or a failed transfer doesn’t necessarily mean you do or do not have endometriosis. It’s an extremely complex disease and usually diagnosed via MRI or laparoscopy + other symptoms. It’s also not the only reason for failed implantation - there can be many other reasons, or no reason at all.

Oh hun, I know that feeling of panic - it's so heartbreaking.
I had 5 failed FETs before we got lucky with our 6th so I understand how you are feeling.
When it comes to IVF, even if all the circumstances are perfect - there is still a chance that the embryo doesn't have enough energy to implant and keep growing. Even if it's a PGT-A tested embryo, the uterus lining is thick, fluffy and receptive , your hormone levels are right - it can still not work. I know it's massively frustrating but sometimes that is the only reason it fails and there is absolutely nothing that can be done to help it.
But in a weird way I find that comforting, because it also means that sometimes it just does work.
Please look after yourself and try not to obsess over it too much. I know it's hard, but sometimes you can just drive yourself mad xxx
Thinking of you and sending some strength. IVF is an amazing science but it is not guaranteed and can fail for many reasons. We have had failures, with no endometriosis, everything healthy, lining 13mm+, healthy high quality blastocyst embryos etc etc etc. It is so hard to take. Even people who conceive naturally easily can have a few failures before one sticks. Try not to be so hard on yourself.
Hi I am sorry to read this blastocyst transfer was not a success. On paper a 3BB is a good quality however sometimes good quality embryos can fail, I think from past reading this grade has a 36% chance of success approximately, so that other 64% of people with this grade can get a negative . Even the best grades of a 5AA only have a 55-60% success at best so please do t get too hung up, your next transfer of lesser quality might just be the one! Endometriosis generally won’t affect implantation I have moderate endo and I have had success with transfers so please don’t worry that is hindering you, did you do a natural or medicated cycle?
