Stem cell therapy

Hi everyone,

Is there any one who had done stem cell ovarian therapy?

My doctor recommended since my AMH dropped really low to 0.4 from last year which was 0.9.

Hope somebody's gone through this and share the experience with me.

🙏

Hi, I’ve heard of it but I think it’s still in the early stages so no clear evidence that it works or not yet? you can ask the doctor what they think the chance of success is with and without this treatment? My levels were 0.9 and almost every clinic, especially abroad, advised the donor egg route. Because they said with your own eggs the chance is maybe 10% so you’ll have to try 10 times on average, this will take years, and I just couldn’t afford the money or the time, especially since that % will only decrease as time went on.. I tried once but only one egg was retrieved, low AMH often responds badly like this, I’ve seen other clinics suggest natural ivf for low AMH, because if you’re still ovulating every month it only takes one good egg for success and the high dose IVF meds can actually make your chance worse with that egg. In the end I switched to donor eggs instead like they advised, and had success on the second transfer so I don’t regret it at all. Best of luck whatever you decide, hopefully someone else has tried the treatment and can give their experience xx

It is interesting how the number of eggs retrieved does not really depend on AMH. My AMH was 0.9 when my clinic were able to retrieve 8 eggs. You have the same AMH level but 1 egg. I decided to do stem cell therapy. I did it yesterday. I will have to wait for two weeks to see the result.

My AMH has dropped from 0.9 to 0.43 within a year.

My doctor said that it helps to retrieve more eggs.
