Hello, I had a full on bleed 7 days after my first fresh transfer. I was given the same answer by my clinic on the first day of bleeding (which was red spotting) that I just need to continue with the meds and wait until OTD. I get really bad period pain and was terrified at the idea of a full on bleed when I couldn't take the appropriate painkillers, so I asked for an honest view of what might happen. She said if it is red blood there is a good chance I would get a full on period (which I did 24 hours later) and 99% chance that means it has failed (which it had), but that there are times people bleed properly and are successful so please don't stop the meds and try to take as little painkillers as possible. I found it easier not to test as I came to terms with the fact it failed - I knew there was no chance the embryo could have survived that bleed. Fingers crossed you have a different outcome. I've had extra progesterone on subsequent rounds and not had the same issue again x
Yes, definitely think it is worth checking again on OTD, even if you are now fairly sure of the outcome. Hope you are OK and being kind to yourself tonight. It is such a brutal process x
do a wee test and save yourself the heartache. Bleeding for me is usually my period, a chemical or once it was successful but you should have a pretty conclusive test by now. If you would feel better just in case after the test stay on the meds but if not that’s okay too I’ve done both it’s whatever will make it easier for you xx
I’m so so sorry 😢 it is better to know I feel in that situation though isn’t it than worry! defo talk to them about lubion to support the pessaries in the future it really made a difference for me xx
