benadryl/Nytol - implantation

Hi,

My doctor had advised against taking benadry /Nytol during my FET. I think she said because it’s not been proven safe for the fetus. However I’m struggling to sleep and have seen many US patients taking it as part of their protocol. I’ve trawled the internet but what I’d like ask does anyone know if it has an impact on implantation? Has anyone taken it during this period?

Thank you in advance

As in antihistamine to help sleep ? I struggle very bad from allergies that affect my sleep, i did abstain during my pregnancy from my little boy and am now in this cycle. If I remember correctly antihistamine wise, lortradine is the safest and recommended if you have to take whilst pregnant / under treatment in the UK, whilst cirtiridzine (which is in benadryl) is deemed unsafe

My spelling of each of those sucks !

Hi Sissy. I agree with your doctor. Try taking two paracetamol, as they’re safe for you to take and often help. Good luck. Diane
